series and Super Street 10.5W class title sponsor for all six national events. Mickey Thompson will also offer contingency awards for all Pro and Sportsman classes including Pro Street, Super Street 10.5W, Nostalgia Pro Street, Xtreme Street, Pro Stock, Drag Radial, Mean Street, Late-Model EFI, Open Comp, Nostalgia Super Stock, Muscle Car and special event classes.

Dave Werremeyer Named Technical and Communications Director of NMRA, NMCA, and NMCA WEST Series

Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia announces the addition of Dave Werremeyer to its event staff as Technical and Communications Director for
the NMRA, NMCA, and NMCA WEST event series. Werremeyer comes to ProMedia after an extensive career at ProCharger, where he served as Motorsports Operations Coordinator for the past eight-years. He will begin his new position with ProMedia on December 24th, 2012.

2013 To Feature NMCA’s 25th Anniversary Tour

celebration includes special events at every race in 2013. With a tighter schedule that will bring more heads-up traveling racers, and exciting special events, NMCA looks to have its biggest event season ever with drag racers and show competitors traveling from all around to celebrate the NMCA’s 25th anniversary tour.
NMCA will open its season with the 11th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, March 21-24. 2013 Special Events Add Excitement to NMRA’s 15th Anniversary Tour

Factory Stock And Coyote Stock Racers Earn $300/$150 Contingency Rewards In 2013

SANTA ANA, CA —The NMRA Ford Nationals is proud to announce an increase in Contingency payments for Nitto Tire Factory Stock
and Strange Engineering Coyote Stock (presented by 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords) finalists in 2013 and beyond. All NMRA event winners will now be eligible for contingency payments of $300 per product (and decal on car) creating quite a lucrative increase in payout for both categories.
The runner up at each event will also be able to claim contingency payments of $150 per product and decal. “The bump in contingency payments will put more money back into the racers’ pockets,” comments Charlie Harmon, director of NMRA events. Steve Wolcott, co-founder of NMRA also weighs in on this announcement, “we’re proud of our contingency program, which boasts nearly $3 million in prize postings. We also like to point out that all contingency payments are cash-only under our program.”

NMCA World Street Finals Featuring the LSX Shootout Rocks Indy in 2012

Indianapolis, IN – The NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals, the #1 all-domestic muscle car show, rocked the Indianapolis area last
weekend and featured the 6th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout, the largest gathering of LS muscle cars in the U.S. The 11th Annual FueLab NMCA World Street Finals at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis the weekend of Oct. 14-17, 2012, saw HUGE fan attendance and HUGE racer (over 500 cars) and car show participation as the NMCA series combined with the LSX community. Also featured at this event was a large manufacturers’ midway, swap meet and burnout contest.
All the cars and all the stars of NMCA were in attendance along with new faces in most classes. NMCA racers had their combinations set on kill at the last race of the year where world championships were on the line. NMCA fans came to see all the wild heads-up and wheels-up classes and they weren’t disappointed! Supercharged, nitrous assisted, turbocharged, and naturally aspirated…this NMCA event had it all.
