Santa Ana, CA – The NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals will reach a milestone next year as the series turns 25 years old and the celebration includes special events at every race in 2013.  With a tighter schedule that will bring more heads-up traveling racers, and exciting special events, NMCA looks to have its biggest event season ever with drag racers and show competitors traveling from all around to celebrate the NMCA’s 25th anniversary tour.

NMCA will open its season with the 11th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, March 21-24.  Watch as all the cars and all the stars of NMCA drag racing combine with LS racers competing in five Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series classes. The yearly trek from northern cities culiminates in sun, fun, and high-flying action as racers in both series kick-off the season. The Florida destination makes this a popular event for the weather and the grand stage to debut the latest and greatest cars and combinations for the new season.

Next, the NMCA series will travel up the road to Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, the weekend of April 11-14 for the 5th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals. Both the NMRA and NMCA racers converge on one facility to let loose a fury of horsepower in one of the largest muscle car events of the year. Be part of the 15,000 fans sitting in the Atlanta Dragway stands watching the explosive head-to-head action on track. Nearly 600 cars hit the asphalt in search of glory and the prestigious NHRA Wally trophy. We call it the All-Star Nationals because of the record-breaking performances and the dueling 300 mph jet cars. Throw in a car show with over 300 vehicles and a massive manufacturers midway and you can see why this is the quickest growing race on the schedule.

Witness history as NMCA and NMRA compete side by side once again at the 8th Annual Nitto Tire Super Bowl of Street-Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois, the weekend of July 11-14, one of only two events that feature both series at the same time.  Watch NMCA and NMRA superstars compete in their own series heads-up classes all weekend long…and then go head-to-head as team NMCA takes on team NMRA for world famous Nitto Tire Diamond Tree Super Bowl Rings.  Last year team NMRA took this winner-takes-all Super Bowl competition 6 to 5.

Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, Kentucky, has played host to NMCA events since the ‘90s and this year’s event, the weekend of August 2-4, is sure to be one of the biggest yet.  Watch as race car trailers roll down Beech Bend’s country road and fill up this historic track with everything from 6-second Pro Street killers to wild, wheels-up Xtreme Street outlaws and much more. The Bowling Green event is extra special as Nostalgia Super Stockers from all around the U.S. will join NMCA’s racers for the Dave Duell Classic—the largest NSS event of the year.  It’s like going back in time when you watch these super-cool ‘60s muscle cars run all out down the ¼ mile for big money, prizes and year-long bragging rights!

Head out to awesome Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, the weekend of August 23-25, to the 7th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals.  The biggest NMCA racers are pointing to this new facility with vigor and excitement as it is hailed to be one of the best facilities in the country. The Norwalk stop on tour is about brand loyalty with the Ford Racing Cobra Jet Showdown and the Late-Model HEMI Shootout.  Ford Racing raised the bar the last few years with its factory race car, the awesome Cobra Jet, and you will see upwards of 50 snakes take over the facility competing in the 3rd Annual Ford Racing Cobra Jet Showdown.  Adding to the excitement from another one of the Big 3— Chrysler fans will see the best in modern HEMI performance with the 5th Annual Late-Model HEMI Shootout.  Witness highly modified late-model Challengers, Chargers, Magnums, and 300s run flat out for bonus cash, prizes, and huge media coverage.  From Nostalgia Super Stockers to 5-second Pro Street cars to factory supplied Cobra Jet race cars and the hottest Late Model HEMI cars—Norwalk will come alive with action, excitement, and fun.

The 12th Annual NMCA World Street Finals will once again take place at historic Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana, the weekend of Oct. 10-13.  It’s only fitting the home of the world’s largest drag race, the U.S. Nationals, will also host to the largest muscle car event of the year!  The NMCA World Street Finals has racers putting their machines “on kill” in search of world championships and exclusive Nitto Tire Diamond Tree champions rings.  This extra special event will showcase everything from 6-second 200+ mph Super Street 10.5W cars to wheel-standing Street Outlaws and everything in between.  The TREMEC True Street class has averaged well over 100 competitors the past 2 years and is testimonial to the crazy street-legal performance possible with American muscle cars.  This 2013 event will also feature the 7th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout, the undisputed largest gathering of LS performance in the world.  Big money, LSX blocks, custom awards, and jackets are up for grabs, courtesy of Chevrolet Performance, and incredible ¼-mile performances are sure to dominate the LSX Shootout!  Join NMCA’s racers in the winners circle as they receive their awards and spray champagne for winning the biggest race of the year.

Each NMCA national event also feature a huge DuPont Custom Finishes Car Show, where you will see a sea of color as hundreds of all-domestic car show participants shine up and show off their awesome late-model and early hot rods and muscle cars.  Magazine editors will be drooling as they search for cover cars & features amongst rows of stock and modified show cars.  All NMCA events also feature the giant manufacturers midways and swap meets…so be sure to hit the ATM on the way to any NMCA event so you can bring home great deals on the parts you need.  Finally…hang on to your seats for flame-throwing 300+ mph jet car exhibitions and the world famous NMCA burnout contest where past participants have gone as far as blowing tires and destroying engines for the roar of NMCA’s crowd!
