Former champions lead drag racing series heading into next events
Round two & three in Quick 32 Sportsman Series and PBSS June 12-14 at the Grand Bend Motorplex
GRAND BEND, ON – The second event in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Pro Bike & Sled Series takes place 
June 12-14 at the Grand Bend Motorplex, and this event will mark the first time in each series’ history that two complete races have been held in one weekend.
And to continue with the double format, the points leaders in both series are two-time champions.

INNISFIL, ON – A new sled for 2015 will be getting Pro Bike & Sled Series racer Jessica Tourloukis down the quarter 
mile a lot quicker this year.
Now in her third year of PBSS presented by Wiseco Performance Products competition, Tourloukis, known as the Psycho Princess will be riding a 2015 Arctic Cat ZR 1100 Turbo, powered by a 1056-cc Suzuki engine which will provide about 320 horsepower at 7800 rpm at full boost.
This power will be transmitted to the 136-inch Proline track, and the sled features a Vipec electronic engine control.

Quick 32 Sportsman Series and Pro Bike & Sled Series underway for 2015
GRAND BEND, ON – Two former series champions won the opening rounds in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and 
the Pro Bike & Sled Series.
Kevin WickeThe two drag race series were part of the Leaf Racewear Spring Blowout presented by Rocksedge & Veloce Italian Kitchen at the Grand Bend Motorplex over the weekend.
In the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, two-time champ Kevin Wicke drove his Top Sportsman Dodge Stratus to an event win while in the PBSS, presented by Wiseco Performance Products, returning champ Dan Cryderman rode his Suzuki to victory.
Williams, Gervais, Orfanidis lead way in Quick 32 Sportsman Series and PBSS openers at Grand Bend
GRAND BEND, ON – The 2015 season is officially underway and the qualifying has been established for the first 
round in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Pro Bike & Sled Series during the Grand Bend Motorplex Leaf Racewear Spring Blowout presented by Rocksedge & Veloce Italian Kitchen.
Qualifying number one in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series Top Dragster class with a 6.193, 181.52 pass is Lyle Williams of Strathroy, Ontario, followed by Burlington’s Glen Vardy with a 6.200, 201.21 posting. Scott McCann of Stratford is third with a 7.017, 188.12.

Drag race series get underway for season opener at the Grand Bend Motorplex May 15-17
GRAND BEND, ON – The Victoria Day Weekend tradition continues May 15-17 when the 2015 season gets underway for the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Pro Bike & Sled Series.
Both drag racing series will participate during the Leaf Racewear Spring Blowout presented by Rocksedge & Veloce Italian Kitchen over the May 15-17 Canadian holiday weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex.
Comprised of both Top Dragster and Top Sportsman entries, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series will kick off its seventh year of exciting competition. Running under indexing rules to give all racers an even chance of winning, cars in this series are powered by engines ranging from single carburetors to sophisticated supercharger and turbocharger set-ups, and speeds of well over 200 mph in the quarter-mile are easily obtained.
Champion Dan Cryderman ready for new PBSS season
PBSS gets underway May 15-17 at Grand Bend
THAMESVILLE, ON – Reigning Pro Bike & Sled Series champion Dan Cryderman feels he will be in a shooting 
gallery when he takes to the track this year, but he said he is fine with that.
Yes, I have got the target on my back, he said, referring to his status as the Pro Bike rider all the competition will be out to beat. But I like it.
The PBSS will enter its fifth season this year and is presented by Wiseco Performance Products.
Cryderman was dominate on his Suzuki last year with two wins and two runner-up positions.
Powered by a 1640-cc Vortex II engine in a Raceworks chassis with a five-speed automatic transmission and FBG 48-mm Lectron carburetors, Cryderman has posted quarter-mile times in the high-seven second range at speeds of 165 mph.
Angelo Falzone ready to take to the track with his PBSS Pro Bike Suzuki
Drag racing season opener May 15 at Grand Bend
MAPLE, ON – Although he has not raced for several years, this upcoming season will be not only a return to drag 
racing but the first for Pro Biker Angelo Falzone in the Pro Bike & Sled Series presented by Wiseco Performance Products.
I decided to get back into it, said Falzone, who will be entering the PBSS after taking some time away from the sport. I plan at first to go slow and easy. I am kind of rusty but I am going to be doing lots of testing and polishing up on my skills.
The Falzone Racing machine is a 1994 Suzuki RF900 R motorcycle, running a 1260-cc Suzuki engine which sits in the PMFR chassis. The bike runs a carburetor fuel system and a five-speed transmission.
New power on tap for John Orfanidis PBSS Team
Quality Automotive Suzuki Pro Bike ready for the season to get underway at the Grand Bend Motorplex
TORONTO, ON – With new power in his Pro Bike Suzuki, Pro Bike & Sled competitor John Orfanidis is hoping to 
get down the track quicker this year.
Always a strong qualifier, Orfanidis, from Toronto, ran the entire PBSS schedule in 2014 and plans to do so in 2015. Off-season, he made a 7.28-second pass and qualified sixth of 22 in the pro-open Class at the prestigious Man (Manufacturers) Cup at South Georgia Motorsports Park, and hopes to better this effort with a new engine for the Suzuki.
Sitting in a 1999 Suzuki GSX-R with a Tracs chassis, the Vance & Hines 1755-cc naturally aspirated engine is fueled by Lectron carburetors and would run in the mid-seven second range at speeds approaching 180 mph in regular PBSS competition.
Orfanidis has been in the sport since the early 1980s and has been a strong contender during his seasons with the PBSS.
Night of Champions honors drag racing teams in the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS
BURLINGTON, ON – The 10th annual Night of Champions was held at the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, 
Ontario to honor the winners in the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series.
Teams from all three drag race series were on hand to accept their awards for the final event of the 2014 season. The PMRA has now celebrated its 10th season of operation, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, presented by NAPA Auto Parts, its sixth season, and the PBSS, presented by Wiseco Performance Products, its fourth season.
The night included talks from several drag racing and media personalities, along with the naming of two new champions. On hand were several Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Inducted members, including Bob Slack, Norris McDonald, editor of the Toronto Star Wheels, and Bruce Mehlenbacher, who is not only Director of Operations for all three series, but was inducted into the CMHF several years ago along with his family. John Waldie was also on hand and spoke to the audience about his involvement in the sport.

Pro Bike Rider Dan Cryderman – Champion
CAYUGA, ON – Pro Bike rider Dan Cryderman had another stellar season on the Pro Bike & Sled Series tour, winning the Championship Point 
Award Series for his second consecutive year.
This season was the fourth for the popular drag race series, which is presented by Wiseco Performance Products.
Riding his Suzuki, Cryderman, from Thamesville, Ontario, took a win in the season opener at the Grand Bend Motorplex, and went to the final round in the next race at Martin, Michigan, losing to Mark Catanzaro of Kimball, Michigan.
