Champion Dan Cryderman ready for new PBSS season

PBSS gets underway May 15-17 at Grand Bend

THAMESVILLE, ON – Reigning Pro Bike & Sled Series champion Dan Cryderman feels he will be in a shooting Dan Crydermangallery when he takes to the track this year, but he said he is fine with that.

Yes, I have got the target on my back, he said, referring to his status as the Pro Bike rider all the competition will be out to beat. But I like it.

The PBSS will enter its fifth season this year and is presented by Wiseco Performance Products.

Cryderman was dominate on his Suzuki last year with two wins and two runner-up positions.

Powered by a 1640-cc Vortex II engine in a Raceworks chassis with a five-speed automatic transmission and FBG 48-mm Lectron carburetors, Cryderman has posted quarter-mile times in the high-seven second range at speeds of 165 mph.

Jeremey Van Bastelaar is a big part of the team with his crew-chief duties and Don Major is a team member.
Cryderman noted nothing major has been performed on the Suzuki for the upcoming season, but added the team will be ready for action.

We tore down the bike and touched up a few things, he said. But things look pretty good.

The PBSS presented by Wiseco Performance Products, www.PBSS.ca now in its fifth year of operation, competes with the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, www.Quick32.ca providing an exciting and colorful package of drag racing action.
