The Pro Bike & Sled Series Countdown to the 2014 Championship

Pro Bike Rider Dan Cryderman – Champion

CAYUGA, ON – Pro Bike rider Dan Cryderman had another stellar season on the Pro Bike & Sled Series tour, winning the Championship Point Dan CrydermanAward Series for his second consecutive year.

This season was the fourth for the popular drag race series, which is presented by Wiseco Performance Products.

Riding his Suzuki, Cryderman, from Thamesville, Ontario, took a win in the season opener at the Grand Bend Motorplex, and went to the final round in the next race at Martin, Michigan, losing to Mark Catanzaro of Kimball, Michigan.

After a semi-final finish at Empire Dragway, Cryderman rode successfully during the final two events with another win and a final round-appearance, once again losing the final to Catanzaro.

The Cryderman Farms Team entry is a 2004 Raceworks Suzuki on a Raceworks Canada chassis with a 1640-cc Vortex II engine fuelled by FBG 48mm Lectrons and mated to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Jeremey Van Bastelaar is the team’s crew chief, Don Major and Kelsey Gillan filled in for Jeremey at a couple of events.

The motorcycle is capable of quarter-mile times in the high seven-second range at speeds of 160 mph.

Cryderman will be honored at the upcoming “Night of Champions” Championship Point Award Series Banquet for the Pro Modified Racing Association (PMRA), the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the Pro Bike & Sled Series (PBSS) will be held at the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Ontario on Saturday, November 8, 2014.

The Pro Modified Racing Association (PMRA), www.PMRA.ca enters its 11th season of popular Pro Modified racing in 2015, while the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, presented by NAPA Auto Parts, www.Quick32.ca will begin its seventh season, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series (PBSS) presented by Wiseco Performance Products, www.PBSS.ca begins its fifth year of operation. Several times during the race season all three series compete at the same weekend events, offering a colourful, diverse, and exciting package of drag racing action.
