Team Arana Ready to Make a Move in the Chase for PSM Title
Arana Sr. will put the hammer down in preparation for Reading
READING, PA – Despite a second-round appearance and solid overall showing this past weekend, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Hector Arana Sr. 
will have more work on his hands than he originally expected before heading to Maple Grove Raceway for the NHRA Nationals.
Continuing to get his Lucas Oil Buell on the right track, Arana was hoping to spend an extra day at Gateway Motorsports Park to put in valuable track time. However, with his oldest son Hector Jr.’s engine giving out early in the St. Louis eliminations, Arana must now turn his focus towards building a replacement in their race shop at home.
“I was really hoping to test Monday in St. Louis,” Arana said. “We really needed the extra time on the track to figure out what the problem is before we went home.

Spirits high for Arana after NHRA Midwest Nationals
ST. LOUIS – Turning his Sunday around at Gateway Motorsports Park, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana rode like a veteran throughout 
the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals.
Getting off the starting line first, Arana jumped to an early lead thanks to a .033 reaction time compared to defending champion Matt Smith’s .065. Arana didn’t look back after that, motoring his ProtectTheHarvest.com/MAVTV Buell to a holeshot win over Smith in the first round.
“The bike felt a little better today but it just wasn’t enough,” Arana said. “The bike is still not running the way it should be. I beat Matt on a holeshot and I had almost the same reaction time in the second round as I did in the first. It’s a good feeling; I just want to go further.”
Consistency during qualifying in St. Louis could result in first win for Arana
ST. LOUIS – Always looking for improvements during his sophomore season on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series tour, Pro Stock 
Motorcycle rider Adam Arana is hoping for round-wins at Gateway Motorsports Park during the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals.
With his best pass coming during the second qualifying session of the weekend, the ProtectTheHarvest.com/MAVTV Buell rider laid down a solid 6.905-second pass at 194.94 mph. Tying his best-qualifying position of the season, Arana snagged the No. 9 spot on the ladder.
“It’s been an average weekend for us, not a stellar one like I would have liked,” Arana said. “I qualified just outside the top half again, which is discouraging, but we did have solid passes all weekend.
Youngest Arana still has winning on his mind for Gateway and beyond
ST. LOUIS, IL – ProtectTheHarvest.com Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana has been a busy man this week, preparing for the AAA 
Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals at Gateway Motorsports Park.
Arana, his brother Hector Jr., and their father Hector Sr. have been burning the midnight oil working on the Buells in an effort to wring out all the speed they can.
“We went home right after Dallas and rebuilt my engine and Hector’s engine,” Arana said. “It’s going to be a long couple of days before St. Louis. Thank goodness it’s summertime and I’m not in school. We’ll be putting in 15 hours a day or more at the shop, trying to get everything ready.”
MAV TV announces November premier for IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series
NORWALK, OH – The International Hot Rod Association™ and MAV TV announced this week that the new Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series 
television show will debut on the popular automotive network on Thursday, November 6 in the first in a 13-week series.
MAV TV, with its unparalleled line-up of motorsports events and exclusive automotive reality shows, will air all 12 IHRA Nitro Jam Drag Racing Series (NJDRS) events and a special season in review episode in a unique, character-driven show that will focus on equal parts behind the scenes stories, car and driver profiles and on-track racing.
Arana matches top qualifying effort of 2014, faces Smith in Dallas first round
DALLAS, TX – ProtectTheHarvest.com Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana matched his best qualifying effort of the season at the AAA 
Texas NHRA FallNationals on Saturday at Texas Motorplex.
Arana qualified No. 9 with a pass of 6.964 seconds at 190.62 mph, matching his performances of Atlanta and Norwalk, Ohio.
“We made a pretty good pass in Q1 on Friday,” Arana said. “We were in the top half of the field after that hit, and I’m pretty proud of that. I just wish we could’ve improved from then.”
Arana was fourth after the first session, but mysterious problems plagued him in the remaining three sessions.
Ready to steal the show, Arana heads to Dallas confident
DALLAs, TX – Even though the Pep Boys NHRA Carolina Nationals in Charlotte were postponed until this weekend’s AAA Texas NHRA 
FallNationals, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana welcomes the challenge of running two full races at Texas Motorplex.
While he was ready to line up his ProtectTheHarvest.com/MAVTV Buell against Chaz Kennedy in the first round of eliminations in Charlotte, the youngest Arana thinks that the makeup rounds in Dallas might fit his riding style even better.
“It’s not going to be any different having two races in one weekend really,” Arana said. “If anything, I think the Charlotte races running during qualifying may be a little easier mentally because it won’t have the same atmosphere.
Wild-card Arana looks to steal a win at NHRA Carolina Nationals
CHARLOTTE, NC – Putting it all on the line at the Pep Boys NHRA Carolina Nationals, Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana is ready to upset the top 10 in points to score his first career victory.
Making solid runs throughout the first two days of competition, the ProtectTheHarvest.com/MAVTV Buell put down its best pass of 6.956 seconds at 190.86 mph in the final round of qualifying. Just missing his goal of landing in the top half of the ladder, Arana’s 10th-place qualifying effort has him racing against No. 7 Chaz Kennedy in round one of eliminations.
“The weekend’s been alright for us, even though I still haven’t qualified in the top half of the field,” Arana said. “We’re not too far off though. It looked like it was going to happen after how Friday went, but it just didn’t fall the way I hoped.
One step closer to his goal, Arana heads to Charlotte confident
CHARLOTTE, NC – With the excitement of the Countdown to the Championship kicking off at the NHRA Carolina Nationals in Charlotte, Pro 
Stock Motorcycle rider Adam Arana is trying not to let the emotions of others distract him.
“I’ve just been trying to stay relaxed before we go to Charlotte,” Arana said. “Unfortunately, I’m not in the Countdown to the Championship this year. Since my dad and brother are though, I’m going to try to help them as much as possible to get a championship.”
Aside from helping his family prep for a championship chase, Arana has continued his constant upgrade on his ProtectTheHarvest.com/MAVTV Buell to find the right balance of horsepower and setup.
