Larry Morgan ready to light it up in important hub for title sponsor FireAde

DALLAS – Pro Stock drag racing veteran Larry Morgan will be fighting for this third victory of the season this Larry Morgan - Maple Grove, courtesy of Comp Plus and Roger Richardsweekend at the AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals, a feat he hopes will bring more attention to first-year sponsor FireAde in an area of the country where its products are saving lives and property every day.

“Ron and Teresa Thames, the owners and founders of FireAde, have helped me race to one of my all-time-best seasons, and the best way I know how to repay their support is by helping their business continue to grow,” Morgan said. “Drag racing at this level takes corporate sponsorship, and corporations get involved to sell their products or services. Well, in a state like Texas, where so much oil is produced, they are changing oil-platform firefighting in big ways, and it’s saving lives and property like never before. So yeah, this is a big race for us, no doubt.”

‘Lucky dog’ Larry Morgan hopes to wheel FireAde Camaro to St. Louis win

ST. LOUIS – Larry Morgan and his FireAde Racing team worked hard to improve to the No. 7 qualifying position for FireAidethe AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals on Sunday at Gateway Motorsports Park, and for their efforts, they will face two-time Pro Stock champion Jason Line in the first round, but that’s simply the nature of Pro Stock, especially during the six-race, championship-determining Countdown to the Championship.

“This Countdown is brutal,” Morgan said. “Everybody is going to drive well, and the guy or girl who drives the best is going to win. The cars are that consistent. I need to keep my head out of my rear end and I’ll be fine. I’ve got a good car, and I’m thankful for all the people who support me: FireAde, Lucas Oil, Streamlight, Gray Motorsports. I couldn’t be happier. I’m a lucky dog out here.”
