O’FALLON, MO. – Just in time for the holiday season, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce its gift to its wonderful fanbase.
It will also be the huge holiday gift that keeps on giving – right up to the first race on the 2011 ADRL Tour.
Starting on Monday, December 20, and continuing until the first race of the 2011 season, the ADRL will release a video each day, Monday through Friday, of one class from a race during the 2010 season on its website, www.ADRL.us. The videos will go in a chronological order, meaning all classes will be shown from the LenMar Motorsports World Finals V during the week of Dec. 20 through Dec. 24.
The following week, Dec. 27-31, the Georgia Drags will be featured and each event will be shown in succession. UTI Dragpalooza VI presented by Safety-Kleen, typically the first race of the ADRL season, will be shown later in the series as it was not completed this past season until a double-race weekend in Baytown in July.
Jenkins Not Happy With Rd 2, Ready To Find Consistency in Qatar

DOHA, QATAR – After coming up just short of a win in Pro Nitrous during Round One of the Arabian Drag Racing League at Qatar Racing Club, Shannon “Iceman” Jenkins had very high expectations heading into Round 2.
Instead, Jenkins and his team took a disappointing step backwards. Jenkins qualified No. 1 with a 3.85, but the final outcome took away any of those good feelings, as he fell in the first round of eliminations in Qatar.
To put it mildly, Jenkins wasn’t exactly excited with the results.
“I’m really unhappy with the way this car has been acting lately. We have changed everything on this race car, and it just refuses to give the results that it should be giving,” Jenkins said.
“Qualifying ended on a good note but our main goal is always to put our Al-Anabi Racing Camaro in the winner’s circle, and we just didn’t get the job done.”
Al-Balooshi’s Team Delivers Record-Breaking Rd 2 Win At QRC

DOHA, QATAR – Khalid Al-Balooshi’s otherwise standout racing at Qatar Racing Club seemed to have found more misfortune during Round Two of the Arabian Drag Racing League last week.
After losing on a holeshot during the semifinals of Round One in Pro Nitrous, Al-Balooshi’s car broke after qualifying first during the opening round.
This time, though, Al-Balooshi and his talented team overcame the adversity, turning two weeks of disappointment into a resounding celebration. A popped manifold got fixed in time, and Al-Balooshi ended up with a 3.83 at 195.14 miles per hour, which not only gave him the Round Two title, but also set both records in the process.
In the winner’s circle, a thankful Al-Balooshi was thrilled to deliver the win to a team that worked unbelievably hard just to get his car fixed in time for eliminations.

ORLANDO, FL. – Already the producer of engines for some of the top drivers in the highly-competitive Extreme Pro Stock (XPS) class, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce that Jon Kaase Racing Engines
will be a sponsor for the first time starting in 2011.
The sponsorship agreement was reached on Saturday at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Orlando. Both companies were eager to release the signing, which will allow for numerous growth opportunities on both sides. “We’re very excited to be on board for 2011. We want to support the competitors and the ADRL as it keeps moving forward,” Jon Kaase Racing Engines Project Manager and Engine Builder Cliff Moore said. “We want to support the organization everyone is running.
“It’s great exposure for us. It’s a perfect relationship for us, absolutely. The ADRL is growing, without question.” The 2011 ADRL season begins on March 25-26 in Baytown, Texas, and will feature nine events that take place across the United States and run through October.
Hunnicutt, Todd, Al-Balooshi Grab Round 2 Wins At Qatar Racing Club

DOHA, QATAR – Rob Hunnicutt stayed up most of Thursday night envisioning how Friday’s eliminations would go at
Round Two of the Arabian Drag Racing League at Qatar Racing Club. Now, Hunnicutt will have a tough time sleeping for an entirely different reason.
Proving that consistent is best, Hunnicutt, a Pro Extreme Motorcycle driver with the American Drag Racing League (ADRL), won his first-ever race in either the ADRL or the Arabian Series, going 4.20 in the finals to knock off Billy Vose at QRC.
“I’m pumped, man. I don’t know how I’m going to be able to sleep,” Hunnicutt said. “Coming through the pits after I won, there was so many people congratulating me and cheering me on. This has just been a great experience.” After a runner-up finish in Round One, Hunnicutt did one better a week later to take the points lead after two of the eight events.
Joining him in the winner’s circle in Qatar was J.R. Todd in Pro Extreme and Khalid Al-Balooshi in Pro Nitrous. Todd knocked off Frankie Taylor in the final after Taylor broke. Todd barely did much better, but it was still a win, just more than a week after the former NHRA Top Fuel standout debuted in the Pro Extreme class with a sparkling new ’57 Chevy. “They stayed up late to repair their engine. Congrats to them,” Taylor said.

O’FALLON, MO – With the two new tracks debuting races for the first time in league history and a more fan-friendly summer program, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is excited to announce its 2011 ADRL Tour schedule.
The 2011 season is slated to feature nine national events that will take place throughout the United States from March through October.
Two new tracks – Palm Beach International Raceway and Maple Grove Raceway – will appear for the first time under the ADRL banner over a six-week stretch in late spring. “We firmly believe that this is the best schedule the ADRL has ever run,” ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said. “As we continue to move forward and continue to grow, we are very excited to visit new tracks while keeping the facilities that have been a major part of the ADRL’s success to this point.” With the 2011 season featuring nine national events at nine unbelievable venues, the races will undoubtedly provide another memorable and record-breaking year.

O’FALLON, MO – The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is returning to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show and it will once again be in its familiar Booth No. 609.
The 23rd annual trade show runs Thursday through Saturday at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and the ADRL is set to have another strong presence at the show.
The ADRL’s top executives and staff will be on hand for the show and they already have a number of high-level meetings lined up with many of the biggest names in the drag racing industry.
The ADRL will be there to discuss opportunities with its current marketing partners and suppliers, while also fostering new relationships as it introduces the premier doorslammer sanctioning body to new exhibitors. “PRI has always been the start of the new season for me,” ADRL Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Evans said.
Jenkins Banking On More After Runner-Up Finish In Round 1 In Qatar

DOHA, QATAR – Shannon Jenkins will take a second-place finish for now, so long as the end result is different.
The Pro Nitrous standout has had enough of runner-up finishes in 2010 after taking second in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) World Championships to Al-Anabi Racing teammate Burton Auxier.
That was enough motivation for Jenkins to come prepared to Doha, Qatar for Round One of the Arabian Drag Racing League, which took place last weekend at Qatar Race Club. He had his ’68 Camaro ready for the first of the eight-race series, earning the top qualifying spot and posting the best E.T. of the weekend in the class.

“We’re looking forward to it,” Greenleaf said. “There are a lot of positives for both the ADRL and Summit Racing.”
Summit Racing Equipment will also be the major sponsor for Pete Berner’s Extreme Pro Stock car. “We are proud to be a part Pete’s team, he is a great representative for Summit Racing,” Greenleaf said “We are looking forward to celebrating his first ADRL victory, and I know he wants that first Minuteman Trophy as bad as we do.”
The ADRL.us Family Scenario – Never Forget, No Good Deed Goes Unnoticed
By Camp Stanley
Hagerstown, MD – These time worn words we often hear, The ADRL.us Family, is definitely more than just an analogy! It is a real, true, living, breathing factual entity that really
does exist. And exist it does, not only in the heads and hearts of those of us who are believers, but in actual actions. This family thought process lives not only at the race tracks across this wide USA we reside in but also up and down the highways and byways we travel on! And we at Stanley & Weiss Racing are one of teams who can attest to the camaraderie that exists across the ADRL teams.
The one thing that does not enter into this equation is the class “I’m better than you” thought processes that have come to pass in other organizations! This part first came to light to me along I-10 in Louisiana where I sat with only ONE of our 2010 dilemmas! As I sat along the interstate highway on a Sunday morning awaiting a tire vendor my friend, Shawn Davis’ bride had found for me I had at least 4 teams across all classes pull up and back up the interstate to see if we needed any help. That My Friends, is what “family” does for “family”!
