PSCA, WCOPMA Team Up For 3 Events in ‘13

REDDING, CA – The West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association and the Pacific Street Car Association have formed a partnership for three 
events over the course of the 2013 season. Two of the scheduled events will be held at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with one at Sacramento Raceway Park. A fourth event is pending. The WCOPMA will replace the Pro Street class as the quickest and fastest class in the PSCA. Hughes Performance will still be involved with the class as a sponsor.
The first of the three events will be in Las Vegas at the Ford Racing Record Breaker Nationals held February 8-10, which will kick off both the WCOPMA and PSCA 2013 seasons. The second event will be at Sacramento Raceway Park and it will be the first time the PSCA has hosted an event at Sacramento Raceway in ten years.

named the official car builder of the 2013 Summit SuperSeries prize dragster awarded to the winner of the Top World Championship at the Summit World Finals at Memphis International Raceway.
Founded in 1985 by longtime racer Dale Maddox, Maddox Race Cars has provided award and race winning racecars to competitors throughout the southeast for nearly 30 years. Primarily known as a door car race shop, five years ago Maddox Race Cars dipped into the world of dragsters and has quickly grown into the go-to place for building machines of both racing disciplines.

X-DRL Adds Stop At Lucas Oil Raceway At Indianapolis To 2013 Schedule

Kerrville, TX – The debut season of the new X-treme Drag Racing League (X-DRL) continues to get bigger with the latest announced 
race for the 2013 season.
The X-DRL revealed on Friday that it will hold an event on Sept. 20-21 at prestigious Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, making it the seventh of nine races for the inaugural 2013 X-DRL campaign.
The event at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis follows the X-DRL’s debut race in Dallas, and adds considerable anticipation to the new eighth-mile sanctioning body’s season.

X-DRL Reveals “Destination-X,” Spectacular Expense-Paid Trip To Debut X-DRL Event At Tulsa Raceway Park

KERRVILLE, TX – The highly-anticipated first event for the X-treme Drag Racing League (X-DRL) is about to get even bigger for one lucky X-DRL fan.
The new eighth-mile sanctioning body, which will debut in 2013, is thrilled to announce its spectacular, “Destination-X” contest as part of the X-DRL’s debut event on April 6-7 at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park.
With a first event that will certainly be a must-see race, “Destination-X” becomes official when the X-DRL Facebook page reaches 10,000 fans. From there, the X-DRL will select one lucky fan to receive a huge, expenses-paid trip to its inaugural event in Tulsa.
PSCA Announces 2013 Las Vegas Race Dates

LAS VEGAS, NV – The Pacific Street Car Association Presented by Chris Alston’s Chassisworks has announced the Las Vegas race dates 
for its 14th season of competition. The Sin City section of the season will begin Feb. 8-10 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the Ford Racing Record Breaker Nationals, an event that will be shared with the stars of the NHRA Mello Yello Series Pro Stock class, who will be there testing prior to the beginning of their season along with some Top Fuel and Top Alcohol teams.
Wrapping up the Las Vegas portion of the season for the ninth year is the Street Car Super Nationals at The Strip Nov. 14-17. The event this past year saw records crumbles, most notably Jose “El General” Gonzalez making a pass of 5.730 seconds in Pro Street, the quickest-ever run in door-slammer history.
NDRA INTRODUCES PRO DOORSLAMMER CLASS FOR 2013 SEASON

Kitchener, ON – After a successful first season of operation with its Alcohol Funny Car Series presented by Ohsweken Speedway, the 
National Drag Racing Association (NDRA) is proud to announce the addition of a Pro Doorslammer division to its 2013 lineup.
The NDRA Pro Doorslammer class will feature six-second, 200 mph plus door cars with unique body styles and engine combinations, providing fans with a throwback feel, reminiscent of the early days of Pro Modified and Quick 8 competition. And although the class is new to the NDRA schedule, the drivers contending for the first season championship are far from new when it comes to competing against one and other. “Our acquisition of the HURA Pro Doorslammers makes for a good fit in the National Drag Racing Association,” stated NDRA’s Director of Operations Dale Boeru.
