TYLER SCOTT CAPS SECOND CONSECUTIVE NDRA CHAMPIONSHIP WITH SECOND WIN OF THE SEASON
EXETER, ON – They might have chalked up his first NDRA championship season to beginners luck, but there’s no 
denying, after a dominating performance during this past weekend’s 4th Annual Canadian Funny Car Championships, that Tyler Scott and his Kardiac Kids Alcohol Funny Car team are the real deal.
Scott, a twenty-four year old native of Exeter, Ontario, was not only triumphant in taking the event crown over the weekend, but he wrapped up a dominating season for the team in NDRA competition, taking home his second consecutive championship in the series, and the fourth overall for the Kardiac Kids team. “What an amazing weekend! To qualify number 1 and win the race is blessing enough, but to also reset my personal best time with a 5.69, it truly is surreal still,” said Scott.
NDRA Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Doorslammer Series a Battle to the End
Cayuga, ON – The National Drag Racing Association Series closed out their 2013 Alcohol Funny Car and Pro Doorslammer final outing 
with plenty of close action on the Labour Day long weekend at the Toronto Motorsports Park – Cayuga Dragway.
The 2nd Annual Canadian Funny Car Championship wound up with Welland, Ontario’s Larry Dobbs as two-time champion in the NDRA Alcohol Funny Car Drag Racing Series presented by Ohsweken Speedway. Going into the event, Dobbs was determined to take his 2002 Pontiac Firebird, sponsored by Sportz Truck Tents by Napier Enterprises fueled by Shellbourne’s M53 racing fuel to the winners circle despite the quality of competition that he faced.
With two earlier 2013 event wins and his 2012 title on the line, Larry fully understood the importance of taking the final stripe for his 3rd win out of four events. And that is exactly what he did.
NDRA – Red Hot Action at 2nd Annual Canadian Funny Car Championships
Kitchener, ON – The Labour Day weekend drag racing action will be hot at Toronto Motorsports Park – Cayuga Dragway from August 31 
to September 1 as they host the 2nd Annual Canadian Funny Car Championships.
The National Drag Racing Association Alcohol Funny Car Series presented by Ohsweken Speedway will wind up their 2013 schedule with fierce competition amongst this year’s point leaders.
Larry Dobbs of Welland, ON, who leads the pack with his 2002 Pontiac Firebird, sponsored by Sportz Truck Tents by Napier Enterprises has lots to defend at this event. Dobbs is the 2012 champion and he holds the top spot on the 2013 numbers board. Larry has two NDRA Alcohol Funny Car Series victories under his belt so far this year.
Stratford Spectacular “Hot August Nationals”
Grand Bend, ON – Grand Bend Motorplex hosted another superb drag race event last weekend. The Stratford Spectacular “Hot August 
Nationals” presented by Ideal Supply and NAPA Auto Parts (August 9 – 11) was a huge success and the National Drag Racing Association Alcohol Funny Cars Presented by Ohsweken Speedway did their part to give race fans a big bang for their buck.
2012 NDRA Alcohol Funny Car Series champion, Larry Dobbs put another notch on his gun to protect his title by capturing the event win. This is his second victory of the 2013 series, using Shellbourne Fuels M53 racing fuel.
In round one, he had the bye and went on to line up his Sportz Truck Tents sponsored 2002 Firebird against Vince Rastelli’s Climax Collision – Vince’s Auto Wrecking backed ’01 Corvette for round two.
NDRA Alcohol and Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars Ready to Heat Up the Stratford Spectacular
Kitchener, ON – Grand Bend Motorplex in Grand Bend, ON once again hosts one of the largest community sponsored drag racing events 
in Canada. The Stratford Spectacular “Hot August Nationals” presented by Ideal Supply and NAPA Auto Parts will draw over 20,000 fans over the weekend of August 9 -11.
The three-day event will feature PMRA Pro Mods, PBSS Pro Bikes and Sleds, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, NDRA Alcohol Funny Cars, Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars and a Top Fuel Dragster that will thrill spectators pass after pass. Right from when the gates open each day, the “Hot August Nationals” racing action will be continuous right into the night under the lights.
NDRA Heats Up at the Canadian Nitro Nationals
Cayuga, ON – Toronto Motorsports Park – Cayuga Dragway presented another dynamic Canadian Nitro Nationals event last weekend 
(July 12 – 14, 2013).
With thousands in the stands and some of the finest drag racing entertainment anywhere, the show was an obvious huge success.
The National Drag Racing Association (NDRA) was a big part of the action packed program with their Pro Doorslammers, Alcohol Funny Cars and Nostalgia Nitro Funny Cars.
