Mayhem at the Creek is in the Books!
Budds Creek, MD – After the rain delayed action Saturday, race fans were treated to an incredible showdown as the stars of the X-DRL 
Mo Hall – Outlaw 10.5 stayed through Sunday to finish what they started and give the Budds Creek fans what they deserved. Royce Miller, the legendary track operator of MIR led the combined track team from 4:00 am Sunday morning to replicate the incredible track surface from the previous two days of qualifying.
Racing action began under cloudy skies with a fast track. Fans hoped the conditions were good for some quick runs and Stupid Fast Racing’s Paul Taylor confirmed the numbers were favorable with 2100 foot air conditions. The team kept turning screws on the Mesquite Logistics Corvette all weekend, doing everything they could to get into the 3.50’s. Despite their best effort the 50’s were not to be had, but the two 3.604 passes in qualifying were the fastest of the event and produced a new Pro X-Treme record for the X-DRL while capturing the track record for the famed Budds Creek facility.
Weather Causes Mayhem at the Creek
Budd’s Creek, MD – Despite the extraordinary efforts of the X-DRL and Maryland International Raceway track crews, excessive rain has 
put a halt to the action at Mayhem at the Creek for Saturday.
Interim race director Royce Miller worked diligently with X-DRL management to establish a plan that would produce the most exciting event for race fans. The schedule which was announced in February, called for quarter final eliminations for all classes to start at 7:00 pm. The event was heavily promoted to local race fans with the emphasis being that the professional classes would start eliminations at 7:00 pm and the never-before-seen X-DRL action under the lights.

Budds Creek, MD – After a rain out for the finals of the Pro X-Treme class from the X-Treme Gateway Showdown, Pesz and Tindle finally 
met for their showdown under the lights.
At the X-Treme Gateway Showdown, contested on June 15-16 at Gateway Motorsports Park, Brandon Pesz thrilled the crowd with a 3.628 at 208.91 mph in qualifying. During the semi final round, Pesz defeated Quain Stott going 3.690 at 204.91 mph while Tindle defeated Todd Tutterow by going 3.696 at 204.57 mph. As the temperatures cooled, fans hoped these drivers would challenge Pesz’s 3.628 but the rain moved in too quickly to complete the final.

The X-DRL Interview: Tim Tindle: Pro X-Treme standout talks family & fast doorslammers
Tim Tindle has run the gamut during his relatively short drag racing career, but the successful site contractor from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida has found a home in X-DRL Pro X-Treme, while his son, TJ, is turning heads as a rookie in X-Treme Pro Mod. We caught up with Tindle on his way to Maryland International Raceway for the inaugural X-DRL Mayhem at the Creek, where the veteran driver has a chance to take home two wins in one weekend.
X-DRL: How did you end up racing fast doorslammers?
Tindle: I’ve raced just about everything. I ran IHRA and NHRA in the late ‘90s, then ran some Top Dragster. We ran naturally-aspirated stuff, nitrous, blowers, a little bit of everything really. Then I started to get interested in the door car stuff. Back in the early 2000s I owned a 10.5 car that we ran mainly at ORSCA races and a few of the outlaw races around home. Joey Martin was the driver and I just owned the car. Again, we ran blowers, nitrous and turbos, just experimenting with the different combinations.

for its first appearance at Maryland International Raceway for the “Mayhem at the Creek” on July 26-27th at Budd’s Creek.
This highly-anticipated event will give East Coast fans their first look at the action-packed X-DRL which features many of the top professional cars and drivers in the world competing in ten exciting classes including Pro Junior Dragster, Mickey Thompson Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Supercar Showdown, 10.5 Outlaw, X-treme Pro Mod, Precision Turbo & Engine Pro Turbo, X-treme Pro Stock, Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous and Pro X-treme, the world’s quickest and fastest door slammer class. These classes will provide non-stop action over the two days, with cars going as quick as 3.60 seconds in the 1/8-mile at more than 210 mph.
X-DRL 10.5 Outlaw Class – The REAL DEAL!
KERRVILLE, TX – The excitement is building for the new 10.5 Outlaw class with the X-DRL announcing the purse pay-out for this 
popular class. The winner earns $5,000; runner-up $1,500; two semi-finalist $750/each and four quarter-finalists will bring home $500 each. Entry fee will be $350 with no membership required. The rules package will mirror those developed by Cecil County Dragway and will be followed without exception. This class will not be eligible for championship points for the 2013 season.
