JOHN FORCE RACING WRAPS UP SUCCESSFUL TEST SESSION IN PHOENIX

PHOENIX – The quartet of John Force Racing race cars wrapped up a successful four days of NHRA pre-season John Force top end Ron Lewistesting at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park today. John Force Racing cars claimed seven of the 10 quickest runs of the day. Brittany Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster team led all Top Fuel dragsters today with a 3.721 second pass at 319.07 mph.

“I am definitely glad we are here in Phoenix testing. We were here for four days and I needed every single run that we made to make me feel more comfortable. Teaming up with Alan Johnson and Brian Husen as my crew chief has been great,” said Force, who finished the 2015 season in 7th place. “They have made a lot of changes to this Monster Energy dragster. They run a whole different system that what we used to run. It takes some time to adjust to that and I am learning the car. It is starting to feel like home. We ran a couple of 3.72s and I am ready to get to Pomona.”

STEVEN COLE RETURNS TO JFR AS VP OF SALES

YORBA LINDA, CA – Steven Cole has returned to John Force Racing as Vice President of Sales for John Force Steven ColeRacing. The 25 year motorsports sales and sports marketing veteran has experience working with the NHRA and NASCAR and returns to JFR after nearly two seasons as the Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the IHRA.

“We are excited to have Steve rejoin our sales and marketing team. He is going to work along with Robert Hight and myself to continue to bring in new sponsors and support our current partners,” said John Force.

Before originally joining JFR in 2012 Cole was the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Advertising & Team Relations for Action Performance Companies, Inc. and previously owned his own company in Charlotte working with NASCAR teams on sponsorship marketing with their partners.

JOHN FORCE RACING TO GET POWER FROM E3 SPARK PLUGS STARTING IN 2016

BROWNSBURG, IN – John Force Racing and E3 Spark Plugs are excited to announce a multi-year sponsorship John Force with his fansbeginning with the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. JOHN FORCE RACING’S BRITTANY FORCE, JON SCHAFFER INCLUDED IN DRAG ILLUSTRATED’S 30 UNDER 30

POMONA, CA – John Force Racing Top Fuel driver Brittany Force and Funny Car crew chief Jon Schaffer were Brittany Forceannounced yesterday as members of the inaugural Drag Illustrated magazine’s 30 under 30. The list celebrates some of the brightest young people in drag racing and its members are the subject of Drag Illustrated’s Tomorrow Issue, which will be released at the upcoming Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Indianapolis.

“It goes without question that up-and-coming drivers and tuners like Brittany Force and Jon Schaffer are amongst the most promising and talented young people the sport of drag racing has to offer,” Drag Illustrated Editor-in-Chief Wes Buck said. “These are the people that will carry our sport into the future, and we’re proud to have them as our first-ever Drag Illustrated 30 Under 30 class.”

HIGHT FINISHES 6th, J. FORCE AND B. FORCE FINISH SEASON 7th

POMONA, CA – The 2015 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season ended today at the 51st annual Auto Club Robert Hight - Pomona, Ron LewisFinals in Pomona. Robert Hight finished 6th in the Mello Yello point standings after he raced to the second round before losing to eventual event and Funny Car NHRA world champion Del Worsham. John Force lost in a wild opening round race while Courtney Force lost a close race to Alexis DeJoria in the first round. Brittany Force and the Monster Energy dragster team made their best run of the weekend in a losing effort to Richie Crampton and finished her third season a career best 7th in Top Fuel points.

Robert Hight’s first round win was classic pedal fest against veteran Tim Wilkerson. At the hit of the throttle Hight’s Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car overpowered track and went into immediate tire smoke. Hight lifted off the throttle, gathered his 10,000 hp Funny Car under control and muscled his race car down the track. Wilkerson also was battling tire smoke and at the finish line Hight got the win with a pedestrian 5.744 seconds against Wilkerson’s 5.787 seconds.

HIGHT AND JFR READY TO END SEASON WITH WIN AT AUTO CLUB FINALS

POMONA, CA – Tomorrow the 2015 NHRA season will conclude and there is unfinished business for John Force Robert Hight - Pomona, Saturday - Ron LewisRacing as Robert Hight and the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro will be looking for their second consecutive Funny Car win while Brittany Force and the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster will be looking to close out her third season with her first win.

The way the qualifying ladder came together three JFR Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Cars could reach the semi-finals and both Hight and 16-time Funny Car champion John Force could have races with championship implications in the second round. Force will face Cruz Pedregon for the 100th time in his legendary career in the first round to start his race day at the 51st annual Auto Club NHRA Finals.

HIGHT AND AUTO CLUB CAMARO LEAD WAY FOR JFR AT AUTO CLUB FINALS

POMONA, CA – The hottest Funny Car team coming into the 51st annual Auto Club Finals continued to impress as Robert Hight - Pomona, Friday - Ron LewisRobert Hight and the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car wrapped up the first day of qualifying as the No. 6 Funny Car. Hight picked up right where he left off after his Las Vegas win running 3.978 seconds in the first session and picking up a qualifying bonus point for the effort as the third quickest run of the session.

“That’s a good start. The last few races, we’ve come out of the box hitting it hard and running good. That sets the tone for the whole weekend. That’s a good job by Mike Neff and the whole crew. I’ll tell you what… it’s always nice to show off for the sponsor,” said Robert Hight, 36-time Funny Car winner.
