$1800 in Certificates up for grabs to DSE Sportsman Series Competitors in 2014
WARREN, OH – Returning for their 2nd season with the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series, Abruzzi Racing Transmissions
is back with an even bigger presence, awarding Top Points finishers with a combined $1800 in Product Certificates in 2014.
Class Champions in Modified, Renegade Race Fuels Super Pro and the newly created HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 16 will all receive $300 certificates while 2nd place will receive a $200 certificate and 3rd place a $100 certificate in conjunction with other Cash and Prizes.

ST CATHARINE’S, ON – The DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series is pleased to announce that Ian Hill Racing with Dilts
Piston Hydraulics Inc., has partnered with ATI Performance Products Inc., for the 2014 season to promote Ian Hill Racings new Super Stock Cavalier. As part of the promotional package for Ian Hill Racing, all three parties will team up to sponsor the DSE Sportsman Series Modified Eliminator category this Season.
The debut of the Super Stock Cavalier and the announcement of the Joint sponsorship support of the Modified Eliminator category both took place today at 10 am Eastern within The Speed and Custom Car Show in London Ontario.
Bounty Hunter Program Returns to Target Saturday Winners
MISSISSAUGA, ON – Racers in the DSE Sportsman Series will again have an extra opportunity each Sunday of a DSE Event to
take home an extra $50 if they can defeat the Saturday winners in Renegade Race Fuels Super Pro or Modified in any elimination round of the Main Event.
Returning in 2014 to the program is GreenLight Property Maintenance (GPM) owned by Steve Ferstl, which operates in Burlington Ontario and specializes in Lawn and outdoor care including trimming, Mulching, and Eaves trough clearing.

BALTIMORE, MD – Canadian and American Competitors will again have a chance to compete for a Torque converter as well as a
$1000 in product certificates this upcoming season in the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series thanks to ATI Performance Products, Inc.
Returning for their second season with the Canadian based Racing Series, ATI will again be offering up close to $2000 in prizes for Points competitors in the Renegade Race Fuels Super Pro, Modified Eliminator, and HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 16 categories. As a Bonus ATI will award a $995 Certificate towards the purchase of a Brand New ATI Torque converter to the Champion in Modified, Super Pro or Quick 16 that finishes with the most points and is currently not an ATI Torque converter owner.

SYCAMORE, IL – If you are planning to run in the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series this season Auto Meter Performance will have 500 reasons why you should be part of the 2014 Points Series . Champions in Super Pro, Modified Eliminator, Super Bike/Sled, and Quick 16 will each be taking home a $500 Certificate at the end of the season as part of their overall Championship Package.
Auto Meter first joined the series as an advertising partner in 2013, and as they move into their second season with the series, they have increased their involvement greatly contributing $2000 in Certificates for DSE Sportsman Series Members to compete for in 2014.
Quick 16 Points Champion to walk away with over $2600 in Cash/Prizes.
OAKVILLE, ON – Championship Fast Bracket Racing is one of the most rapidly expanding categories in Drag Racing, and in 2014
it will have a new home within the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series courtesy of Ian Rae and HeadsUpRacer.com, as they return to create a new Quick 16 Championship Points Program for Ontario and New York Racers.
The 2014 HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 16 program will feature an Open Field of the fastest 16 vehicles with no Dial in restrictions or vehicle restrictions (other than NHRA Safety Rules). A full race will be contested each day allowing competitors a chance at two races each DSE weekend for the price of only one tow to the track. Entry fee will be $150 per day; however, Non-Qualifiers will receive a $100 refund and a $50 credit towards their next Quick 16 Entry or a Super Pro Entry. Points for the Quick 16 will be claimed by taking a racers best 9 Events out of 12.
INAUGURAL DRAG RACING NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS SET FOR FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH AT THE CANADIAN MOTORSPORTS EXPO
TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Motorsports Expo Powered by Inside Track Motorsport News, in conjunction with DSE
Automotive, will continue a long-running tradition of supporting grassroots motorsports with the creation of the Drag Racing Night of Champions, a celebration geared towards recognizing the achievements of many of Canada’s top straight-line racers in 2013.
Sponsored by David Stirk Enterprises (DSE), the Drag Racing Night of Champions will take place Friday, February 7th at 7 p.m. The presentations will be hosted by former competitor, and respected drag racing announcer, Larry Satchell. The CME runs February 7, 8 & 9 in Hall 5 of Toronto’s International Centre.
DSE SPORTSMAN RACING SERIES IS COMING TO THE CANADIAN MOTORSPORTS EXPO
TORONTO, ON – Having tested the environs of the Canadian Motorsports Expo last season, the DSE Automotive Sportsman
Racing Series will be back for the 2014 edition of the show, greeting fans and promoting their southern Ontario-based drag racing series.
“We feel that it’s very important to reach out to the fans and to re-introduce them to Bracket Drag Racing,” said Andrew Stirk, co-founder of the DSE SRS. “Sportsman racing is where the Pros came from, and we hope to use our time at the CME to educate people about what the series has to offer, and to build an appreciation for our brand of motorsports.”
DSE Championship Finals Crowns NHRA National Dragster Challenge Winners as well as New Series Champions
CAYUGA, ON – The Final race weekend of the DSE Sportsman Racing Series was billed as the biggest race of the season with more cash
and trophies up for grabs than any other event during the year. For those competing for DSE Championships it was the final two points races in the series, and for those on the hunt for their First NHRA “wally” Trophy, this would be their final race in Ontario this season to get their hands on one.
Saturday’s racing program featured the NHRA National Dragster Challenge, which was awarding NHRA “Wally’s” to all the class winners. Unfortunately due to a series of Test and Tune Oil Down’s and a cooling track Saturdays Racing action was halted in Round 3 and finished Sunday Morning before the Sunday Main event racing started.
Points Battles Will Be Go Down To the Wire at Season Finale
CAYUGA, ON – For the second time this season DSE SportsmanRacing Series Competitors were racing against the weather as much as
themselves at the 2nd Annual Canadian Funny Car Championships. Saturday Racing went smooth with all classes being able to crown champions, however Sunday turned into a race against an incoming weather system, unfortunately for DSE Sportsman Racing Series Competitors the storm won and Sundays Racing action was cancelled just prior to Round 1.
One big winner from the weekend was Pete Maduri Jr (pictured below)who for the second DSE event weekend in a row doubled up his Saturday racing action by taking home both the Renegade Race Fuels Super Pro and HeadsUpRacer.com Frantic 14 Victories.
