Niagara Falls, ON – Local and regional racers from all over Ontario and Western New York will be converging on Toronto Motorsports Park this weekend as the DSE Sportsman Racing Series presents the 3rd annual Joe’s Transmission Services Canada Day Spectacular, which will feature two days of Championship Sportsman Bracket racing and coveted NHRA “Wally” Trophy’s.

Competitors in Renegade Race Fuels Super Pro and Hill Racing/ATI Performance Products Modified will be duking it out on Saturday to find out who will have the honour of taking home the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment “King of the Track” Wally Trophy, as well as a set of Goodyear Race Slicks courtesy of Series sponsor Competition Tire Canada.

CAYUGA, ON –  The 3^rd annual Season Opener kicked off the 2014 campaign for DSE Sportsman Racing Series competitors this past weekend with over 115 competitors from all over Ontario and Western New York converging on Toronto Motorsports Park for a weekend of Championship Bracket Racing that unfortunately was cut short on Sunday by mother nature.

Saturday’s opening round of competition saw DSE competitors take to the legendary quarter mile drag strip under blue skies and warm mid 70’s conditions which in turn helped produce a fantastic racing surface that even the Paton Family Top Fuel Dragster team took advantage of to get some pre-national event testing in before Epping.

WARREN, OH – Racers and fans of the DSE Sportsman Racing Series will need to mark down Saturday August 30^th on the calendar as a must see event when the Abruzzi Racing Transmissions DSE All-Stars take to the track to showcase their skills in a $1000 winner take all showdown at Toronto Motorsports Park during the 4^th annual DSE Labour Day Championships.

The field will be comprised of 16 cars featuring the Top 5 point’s racers from both Super Pro and Modified; Top 3 points racers from Quick 16, Top 2 point’s racers from Street Eliminator and the Points leader from Super Bike/Sled. The field will be laddered ahead of time with Box classes on one side, and No Box/Bike-Sled on the other, with the final being a Box versus No Box match-up for the All-Star Race Title. Racers will begin accumulating points at the 3^rd Annual Season Opener, and will have until Race number Eight at the Sportsman Nationals in St Thomas to solidify their spot for the event on Labour Day.

STOUFFVILE, ON – Stefko Racing Engines will be returning for their third season with the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series, supporting both the “Round that Counts” as well as the familiar 9.90 Super Gas category that will be contested at two event weekends this coming year.

The Stefko Racing Engines “ROUND THAT COUNTS” will take place every race day of a DSE Sportsman Series event during the final time trial session for all non-qualifying categories. Racers will be looking to nail down the best reaction in their class during that session to win the opportunity to receive the first Round bye run should there be an un-even number of cars in the class.
