Las Vegas, Nevada — We Believe. These two words are the best to describe the Team Ryco Hydraulics Funny Car Team of Mickey Ferro.
Ferro and his team are the team to be reckoned with as the 2010 drag racing season rapidly comes to a close. With only two races left, Ferro’s team has appeared in twelve final rounds with six of those ending in the Winner’s Circle.

Wichita Falls, TX – The Nitrous Express 5.0 Coyote Plate System feature’s Phase 3 Spraybarless technology for the ultimate in atomization and distribution. The billet plate bolts between the throttle body and intake making installation quick and easy.
The solenoids are integrated into the plate for a super clean look. A direct-plug-in Fuel Line Adapter is provided to simplify installation (no need to cut your factory fuel lines). This system includes a TPS Autolearn switch so the nitrous only activates at wide open throttle and automatically turns off when you let your foot off the accelerator. The system includes jetting for 35, 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 horsepower and can produce up to 250 horsepower with additional jets.
The systems include extra long stainless braided N2O line, master arming switch, relay, relay harness and all necessary hardware to complete the installation. Systems with bottles include the new billet aluminum Lightning 45 bottle valve and stainless bottle brackets. Fits 2011 Ford GT Mustangs with the 5.0L 4 valve coyote engine.

WARTBURG, ONTARIO – Although he has driven several classes of drag cars, Scott Wildgust made the transition from door car to a dragster in fine fashion this season, placing second in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series presented by NAPA Auto Parts with 1176 points, only two points out of first place.
“We had a great year,” said Wildgust, driver of the White and Wild Racing Top Dragster entry of himself and co-owner Bill White. “We had a great crew for the season, and Bill is a great partner.”
The former PMRA Pro Modified driver campaigned a 1957 Chevy in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series in 2009, but Wildgust and White put together a Top Dragster that was a strong and consistent contender.

CORBYVILLE, ONTARIO – PMRA rookie Derek Hawker showed he was a force to reckon with in 2010, taking second place in the Pro Modified Racing Association Championship Point Award Series presented by Magnum Auto Parts and Patio Passport.
“We had a great year,” noted Hawker, driver of the Hawker Racing 1963 Corvette. “In fact, we had a fantastic year. The car ran well, and we can’t wait to get back at it again next year.”
The former Top Sportsman driver stepped up into the quick Pro Modified in 2010, and made a fine showing in his first year of PMRA racing, qualifying for all events. His season was comprised of a quarter-final round showing, a pair of semi-finals, a runner-up placing, and a win, which he took during the Canadian Nitro Nationals at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.

Ennis TX – This past weekend Titan Motorsports participated in the ADRL LenMar World Finals as well as the 2010 Battle for the Belts in Dallas Texas. We pick up the action with the Battle for the Belts’ first round of action. In the first round, Gary White and the Titan Motorsports Scion had a bye run, since the Team finished first in points for the year. Although Gary didn’t race an opponent, he was still racing this round to qualify for the LenMar World Finals. In round 1 he ran a 3.954 at 187.76mph.
This run just barely beat out Todd Moyer’s first run winning time of 3.955, giving White the lane choice against him in round 2. In round 2 Gary cut a great reaction time and was able to just squeeze out Moyer with a 3.957 against Todd’s 3.990. In the third and final round it was Gary White vs. Dan Millen. Gary got a good jump, but Dan had the lead by halftrack, and took the win. Congratulations to Dan Millen and his team on the win!

ENNIS, TEXAS – Mother Nature put a damper on much of the racing season this year, including day two of the ADRL LenMar Motorsports World Finals at Texas Motorplex. Team Aruba tackled the track in 15 races this season, five in the MMPSA and ten in the ADRL, traveling over 25,000 miles donning the brilliant Aruba colors.
Early in the season in Valdosta, Georgia, Eman and the crew was awarded “Best Appearing Crew”, thanks to the amazing uniforms made possible by Greg Ozubo at Vandergriff Apparell. With a good team in place, Team Aruba gained substantial recognition and couldn’t have had the season that they did without the support of Bobby Hicks and Tommy Coon. Ven Eman, Trevor’s Father, kept the team on the track, lining up sponsorships and keeping the dream alive in a tough financial season.
