Eaton Funny Top Alcohol Car Team Looking for Game Changer at INDY
Harrison TWP. MI – It’s been an up and down season for the Eaton Backed Top Alcohol Funny Car Team of Todd Robertson and
Robertson will be the first to tell you there’s been more downs than ups but, the veteran racer from Michigan knows anything can happen at INDY.
“With all the low points this season I’m really proud of my guys and how we keep moving forward. Between races we’ve been working closely with Darren Mayer of DMPE and are very confident we have the power we need to compete in probably the toughest class I’ve ever raced in. Now it’s a matter of using the power we have and getting it to the other end,” said Robertson. “If we can package a few runs together at INDY it can change our whole season,” added Robertson.
The entire Pro Power Motorsports team understands the importance of the U.S Nationals and would like nothing more than to turn their season around at the “Big Go”.
“We all know how important this race can be to a racer,” said Crew Chief Dennis Kolomyjec. “There are plenty of racers who’ve been exactly where we are right now but were able to put something together at INDY and became legends in the sport. We’re far from legends but we realize that this place is special. With the quality of the competition that’s in Top Alcohol Funny Car right now I’m very honored to have the opportunity to be able to run here at such a high level”.
Robertson along with the other Top Alcohol teams will be afforded four qualifying runs between Thursday and Sunday with round one of eliminations to take place Sunday evening at 5:30 PM. The remainder of eliminations will take place Monday. To follow all the action, log onto http://www.dragracecentral.com or you can follow along at NHRA.com
