announce what will once again be the largest all-GM event of the year… the 4th Annual Chevrolet Performance Nationals, which will take place at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia, the weekend of May 29-31, 2015. This event, presented by Scoggin-Dickey Parts Center, always attracts some of the baddest Chevy and GM show cars, drag cars, and autocross competitors in the U.S. for year-long bragging rights!

ProMedia Events Announces Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series 2015 Schedule
Four events featuring Chevrolet LS and modern LT engine platform in heads-up drag racing, all-GM car shows, huge manufacturers’ midways & more!

announce the signing of a three-year contract with Chevrolet Performance and the following 2015 schedule for the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series.
Developed from the excitement of the LSX Shootout, the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series features vehicles equipped with Chevrolet LS and modern LT power plants taking the all-GM racing classes to a whole new level. With six drag racing classes for all levels of participants from the super quick JE Pistons Drag Radial class to the index-style Street King class, this series is a dream-come-true for racers and enthusiasts of all late-model GM-equipped vehicles.
Muscle Car Madness! 2015 NMCA Season Opener Race Wrap
Santa Ana, CA – There was lots of excitement going into the 13th Annual Ross Racing Pistons NMCA Muscle Car 
Nationals that took place March 20-22, 2015 in Bradenton, Florida. With two new classes debuting and the addition of the local Outlaw 632 eighth-mile points race, the action during the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing Series season opener did not disappoint!
In VP Racing Fuels Pro Mod new rules for 2015 opened up the class to vehicles with roots or twin-screw superchargers. These alcohol-injected beasts with their raucous exhaust notes emanating from their zoomie headers certainly grabbed everyone’s attention in Bradenton. John Benoit of Vermont made the only five-second run of the weekend with his nitrous car and went number one in qualifying, but the juice didn’t last long. Michael Biehle II in his turbocharged machine and Robert Abbott in his supercharged ’69 Camaro charged to the final. Rumor has it that Abbott was nursing a serious illness all weekend, but he made pass after pass regardless. In the final race of the day, Biehle took the advantage off the line and his twin turbos hauled the mail on the top end with a 6.09/252mph winning performance to Abbott’s 6.17/228. Hopefully Abbott, Rick Sachsel, and Tommy Dwyer will bring their blower cars to Atlanta and make some more noise in the Pro Mod ranks.
NMRA Signs Five-Year Contract with Bradenton Motorsports Park
The #1 All-Ford Motorsport Event will return to Bradenton, Florida through 2020 with heads up drag racing, giant all-Ford car shows, huge vendor midways and more!
Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia Events, home of the National Mustang Racers Association (NMRA), is proud to announce 
the signing of a five-year contract with Bradenton Motorsports Park. As a result, the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals season opener has a permanent home through 2020 in the city of Bradenton, Florida. Held in early March, the NMRA season opener is a perfect fit for Bradenton Motorsports Park due to the warm weather, eager fans and ideal track conditions. The combination of Manatee County and the Florida Gulf beaches with the outstanding racing of NMRA makes this a destination event for the next five years.

NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals kicks off the 2015 season at Bradenton Motorsports Park
Santa Ana, CA – As winter keeps a tight grip on the rest of the country, the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford 
Nationals kicked off its annual tour in typical fashion. The largest All-Ford drag racing tour rolled down to Bradenton Motorsports Park for the Nitto Tire Spring Break Shootout presented by Muscle Mustang and Fast Fords. It was an action-packed event that mixed streetcars, NMRA racecars, and the party element of that time of the year. It was the twenty-first running of the event and NMRA officials added several specialty shootouts to its already packed line-up of racing. All weekend, racers were on the throttle hoping to get into the Aerospace Components Winners Circle!
From the top, VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaw saw it come down to the two battered veterans of small-tire racing-defending series champion, John Urist, and the former champion, Phil Hines. This is the third straight year that these two racers have met in the final round of NMRA’s top class. They both have a win credited to them, Hines in 2013 while Urist took the 2014 competition. This year it was Urist taking the win; Hines toasted the tires and Urist streaked to the win with a 6.90 at 204 mph.
