LANGDON, PROCK, GLENN & HALL WIN MISSION #2FAST2TASTY CHALLENGE AT MUCKLESHOOT CASINO RESORT NHRA NORTHWEST NATIONALS
Kalitta, Prock, Glenn and Hall qualify No. 1 at Pacific Raceways
SEATTLE – Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon helped continue Kalitta Motorsports’ dominance in the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge on Saturday
at Pacific Raceways, winning the specialty race for the fourth time this season as part of this weekend’s Muckleshoot Casino Resort NHRA Northwest Nationals.
Austin Prock (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and John Hall (Pro Stock Motorcycle) all won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge, while Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel), Prock, Glenn and Hall qualified No. 1 at the 11th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
Langdon made a spectacular run to close out qualifying and win the bonus race over points leader Tony Stewart, going a strong 3.718-seconds at 338.17 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air Careers dragster. The fourth Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge win of the season ties Langdon with his Kalitta Motorsports teammate Doug Kalitta for the most victories in the bonus race this year.
It sets up Langdon nicely for the Countdown to the Championship playoffs and the former world champion also has his sights set on a first Seattle win in Top Fuel, especially after a standout run to close out qualifying. Continue reading

Park, defeating Tony Stewart in the final round to win the bonus race for the fourth time this season at the 19th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals.
Daniel Wilkerson (Funny Car) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, while Justin Ashley (Top Fuel), Cruz Pedregon (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Matt Smith (Pro Stock Motorcycle) qualified No. 1 at the 10th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season. DOUG KALITTA TAKES DRAMATIC FOURTH MISSION FOODS CHALLENGE WIN OF THE SEASON
NORWALK, OH – Doug Kalitta won his fourth Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge of the season and Team Kalitta’s eighth in 10
races, but this one was different. It was dramatic.
Although Kalitta defeated Justin Ashley in the rematch of last week’s semifinals near Richmond and had lane choice over points leader Tony Stewart in the final round, he entered the Mission Foods Challenge final qualified No. 17 and not in the field for tomorrow’s race.
Prior to the Mission Foods final round, which was also the final round of qualifying, Kalitta’s quickest qualifying attempt was a 3.997-second effort at 270.32. He was No. 16 entering the final qualifying round but had been bumped out of the field.
No problem for the 2023 Top Fuel champion. His Alan Johnson-tuned Applied Innovation dragster made a 3.952-second pass at 294.37 mph. It certainly wasn’t flawless, but in that situation, it was perfect. Continue reading

B. Force, Beckman and Davis all qualify No. 1 at Virginia Motorsports Park
DINWIDDIE, VA – Less than two weeks after winning in Bristol, Top Fuel standout Steve Torrence continued to roll on Saturday at Virginia Motorsports Park,
defeating Shawn Langdon in the final round of the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge as part of the fifth annual American Rebel Light Virginia NHRA Nationals.
Daniel Wilkerson (Funny Car) and Brayden Davis (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge, while Brittany Force (Top Fuel), Jack Beckman (Funny Car) and Davis (Pro Stock Motorcycle) qualified No. 1 at the ninth of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
In the heat, Torrence made a strong run during all three qualifying sessions on Saturday, finishing it off with a run of 3.877-seconds at 324.28 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Capco Contractors dragster to slip past Langdon’s 3.927 at 325.45 and earn his first Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge win of the year.
Torrence broke a long winless streak in Bristol and he followed it up with a fantastic Saturday in Richmond, which could bode well for raceday as the four-time champion looks to win back-to-back races for the first time since 2021. Continue reading

BRISTOL, TN – In a year of firsts for racing legend Tony Stewart, the Top Fuel points leader added two more on Saturday at Bristol Dragway,
picking up his first career No. 1 qualifier and winning the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge specialty race for the first time during the 24th annual Super Grip NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals.
J.R. Todd (Funny Car), Aaron Stanfield (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge, while Austin Prock (Funny Car), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and Brayden Davis (Pro Stock Motorcycle) qualified No. 1 at the eighth of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
In the final of the specialty race against Doug Kalitta, Stewart went a strong 3.803-seconds at 324.05 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage dragster to cap off a thrilling day for the NASCAR Hall of Famer. EPPING, NH – Top Fuel veteran Doug Kalitta continued an incredible qualifying run on Saturday at New England Dragway, keeping Kalitta
Motorsports undefeated in Top Fuel in the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge with a victory over Tony Stewart, setting the track speed record and also qualifying No. 1 for the fourth straight race at the 12th annual NHRA New England Nationals.
Jack Beckman (Funny Car) and Matt Hartford (Pro Stock) won the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge as well, while Austin Prock (Funny Car) and Cody Coughlin (Pro Stock) qualified No. 1 at the seventh of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.
Kalitta Motorsports’ Top Fuel duo of Kalitta and Langdon have now won all six Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge bonus races in 2025, with Kalitta taking his fourth victory of the year after going 3.670-seconds at 337.24 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Mac Tools dragster. It also sent him back to the No. 1 spot for the fourth straight race and the fifth time in seven races during what was the latest spectacular showing in qualifying.
Kalitta’s massive speed set the track record as well, as the veteran looks to win in Epping for the second straight year and pick up his first 2025 event victory as well. Continue reading
