MILLINGTON, TN – Once the smoke cleared and the rubber stopped flying at Memphis International Raceway (MIR) following the World’s Largest Burnout during the Hot Rod Power Tour, track crews went to work whipping the drag strip back into shape with a full scrape and fresh rubber put down.
“After the Street Outlaws, the bracket race and the fun runs at Power Tour, the track was due for a scrape anyway,” said Paul Cartwright MIR’s Director

MILLINGTON, TN – Catch the Outlaws at Memphis International Raceway (MIR) will be an event that’s unprecedented in the years since the Discovery channel series “Street Outlaws” started.
Catch the Outlaws features four original cast members – Doc, Derek, Dominator and Monza – who are all currently on the show’s Top 10, and all racing competing at the same track.
“I’m pretty sure this is the first time this has happened,” said James “Doc” Love. “This is going to be a huge event for the fans. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’m excited about it. I’ve got a great feeling we’re going to put on an incredible show.”
Outlaws’ Doc Living Rock Star Dreams
Star of ‘Street Outlaws’ ready to race and meet fans at MIR
MILINGTON, TN – When James “Doc” Love was growing up in Oklahoma, he loved rock music and fast cars.
“I wanted to be a rock star. I wanted to be the lead guitarist in a rock band,” Doc said. “Realistically it was a pipe dream. It was a kid’s dream.”
While the guitar thing didn’t work out, that love of fast cars has. Doc is one of stars the Discovery channel show “Street Outlaws.” He joins co-stars Derek, Monza and Dominator racing at Memphis International Raceway (MIR) Friday and Saturday night (June 5 and 6).
James “Doc” Love and his trusty car The Street Beast will be racing against three other ‘Street Outlaws’ at MIR. Thanks to the show and its devoted fan base, Doc has been able to live some of those teenage dreams at track appearances such as this weekend’s Catch the Outlaws.

could ever get the cars out. That’s when we figured out, ‘Wow this has gotten crazy.'”
Dominator Spreading Love of Cars
Star of ‘Street Outlaws’ campaigns to get classics back on the road
MILLINGTON, TN – The thing that brings the most pride to Joe “Dominator” Woods about being a part of the show “Street Outlaws” has nothing to do with win lights or where he ranks in the Oklahoma City Top 10 and has everything to do with providing automotive inspiration.
Joe Woods, also known as Dominator, will give fans an up-close and personal look at his car at MIR this weekend.
“My whole goal with the show wasn’t about the street racing part of it,” Dominator said. “I hoped that I’d be able to get the guys who own old muscle cars, pro street cars and race cars that have been buried in garages under old Christmas decorations to get their stuff back out there.
