Diamond Pistons Announced as Major Event Sponsor for World Doorslammer Nationals

ORLANDO – Diamond Pistons, a leading manufacturer of racing pistons, is the latest high-performance manufacturer to sign on as an event sponsor of the inaugural Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing, race officials announced today.

The World Doorslammer Nationals, March 6-8 at Orlando Speed World Dragway, will pay $75,000 to the winner in Pro Stock and $50,000 to the Pro Mod victor. Top-tier teams in both classes utilize Diamond Pistons products in their race engines.

Philadelphia Racing Products Named Sponsor for Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals Presented by CTech Manufacturing

ORLANDO – It was announced today that Philadelphia Racing Products, a leading high-performance racing parts manufacturer, will be a sponsor for this weekend’s Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing.

The inaugural event takes place Friday through Sunday at Orlando Speed World Dragway, offering a purse of more than $300,000 to the biggest stars in Pro Stock and Pro Mod. For PRP, the highly-anticipated event marked an ideal opportunity to get their brand in front of racers and the massive fanbase expected to attend the history-making race.

Gibtech, Winberg, GRP, Western Motorsports Research & Development Become Qualifying Round Sponsors of World Doorslammer Nationals

ORLANDO – Former NHRA Pro Stock star V. Gaines has voiced his support for this weekend’s inaugural Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing, as four of Gaines’ Western Motorsports companies have signed on as qualifying session sponsors.

Gibtec Pistons, Winberg Crankshafts, GRP Connecting Rods and Western Motorsports Research & Development will sponsor the event taking place Friday through Sunday at Orlando Speed World Dragway.

The World Doorslammer Nationals will feature Pro Stock and Pro Mod, two major classes that use products from Gaines’ companies. The event turns the classes into headliners, paying $75,000 to the winner in Pro Stock and $50,000 to winner in Pro Mod.

ORLANDO – The sponsor list continues to grow for the Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing, as race officials announced today that Bill Miller Engineering (BME), an industry leader in forged aluminum pistons and connecting rods, has been named a sponsor for the inaugural race.

The event takes place Friday through Sunday at Orlando Speed World Dragway, putting the focus on Pro Stock and Pro Mod. The classes will get headline status, awarding $75,000 to the winner in Pro Stock and $50,000 to the Pro Mod winner. It’s a focus that BME can get behind, too, as the company has been a longtime supporter of the popular doorslammer categories.

ORLANDO – With standouts and defending world champions in both Pro Stock and Pro Mod as their customers, it was announced today that Quarter-Max Chassis and Components, and RJ Race Cars have been named major sponsors for the Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing.

The inaugural race takes place March 6-8 at Orlando Speed World Dragway and gives the star drivers in both Pro Stock and Pro Mod the spotlight. The winner in Pro Stock nets $75,000, while $50,000 will be awarded to the Pro Mod winner. Meanwhile, plenty of RJ Race Cars will be in attendance, including defending NHRA Pro Stock champ Erica Enders and reigning NHRA Pro Mod world champ Stevie “Fast” Jackson.

Bo Butner, Dave Kramer Set for Best 2 out of 3 Match Race with $25,000 up for Grabs at World Doorslammer Nationals

ORLANDO – The friendly barbs and endless trash talk has gone on for months.  Now, Bo Butner and Dave Kramer are going to settle things on the track – with $25,000 on the line – at the Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing.

The event takes place March 6-8 at Orlando Speed World Dragway, and Butner and Kramer’s best two-out-of-three duel will take place on Saturday in Factory Stock Showdown. The winner gets $25,000 – though Butner predicts that purse could go up by the time Saturday night arrives – and some major bragging rights.

“Like I told him when he started talking, he’s got the easy part done. He’s talked about it,” said Butner, who campaigns a Cobra Jet Ford Mustang. “His stuff is fast, but I think we’ve got something to surprise him with.”

Kramer, who won a NHRA race in St. Louis in the class a year ago in his Chevrolet COPO Camaro, had a retort at the ready.

Strutmasters Added as Major Sponsor for Historic Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals

ORLANDO – The Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals presented by CTech Manufacturing has added another marquee partner, as race officials announced today that Strutmasters, an industry leader in suspension parts and air to non-air suspension conversion kits, has been named a major sponsor of the race.

The highly-anticipated inaugural event, which takes place March 6-8 at Orlando Speed World Dragway, features a purse of more than $300,000, awarding the winners in Pro Stock and Pro Mod $75,000 and $50,000, respectively. For Strutmasters founder and owner Chip Lofton, it’s another way to be involved in a sport – and now an event – he loves.

“You look at this event, and it offers big money, it’s going to draw a lot of teams, it’s at the beginning of the year, and I really think it’s going to be a great event,” Lofton said. “They’ve put a lot of time and thought into what makes a great race, and it’s a great location as well. ORLANDO, FL – Race officials announced today that CTech Manufacturing, an industry leader in the manufacturing of racing carts, cabinets and drawers, has been named the title sponsor for the upcoming Drag Illustrated World Doorslammer Nationals, which takes place March 6-8 at Orlando Speed World Dragway.

The inaugural event puts the spotlight on Pro Mod and Pro Stock, as winners in both classes at the CTech Manufacturing World Doorslammer Nationals will receive $50,000. CTech Manufacturing has built an impressive resume in drag racing and motorsports, but the highly-anticipated event marks the first time the company has stepped into the title sponsorship role in drag racing.
