CarSafe Continues As Official Extended Vehicle Service Provider Of The ADRL In 2012

O’FALLON, MO – For the past two seasons, CarSafe and CarSafe Motorsports has been one of the most visible partners in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL).

With a standout motorsports team and a huge presence at each ADRL event, CarSafe has maintained a strong relationship with the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league.

That partnership will continue for a third straight year.

On Tuesday, the ADRL announced that CarSafe will continue as the Official Extended Vehicle Service Provider for the third straight season.

In addition, CarSafe is the title sponsor for the first race on the 2012 ADRL Tour, CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII, which takes place March 30-31 at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston. The company will also serve as the presenting sponsor for the Gateway Drags IV presented by CarSafe in St. Louis, and the World Finals VIII presented by CarSafe in Dallas.

O’FALLON, MO – Amid tremendous anticipation from the initial announcement of its new SuperCar Showdown series, the American Drag Racing League today presented the complete rules and regulations for a category unique in the world of straight-line motorsports competition.

After generating astonishing response from throughout the industry with the creation of the first truly global contest among the world’s most powerful production automobiles, the ADRL has now released a comprehensive set of rules devised to permit virtually any vehicle to compete in an equitable format.

“The SuperCar Showdown will be a drag racing series unlike any other,” said ADRL President Tim McAmis, “and the rules for the class are the result of exhaustive research and analysis of dozens of production car platform, engine and transmission combinations from more than seventy manufacturers. Our goal was to embrace not only current technology but the equipment now being designed which will change all of motorsports in the coming years.”

Summit Racing Equipment To Sponsor ADRL’s Top Sportsman Class In 2012

O’FALLON, MO – The Top Sportsman class in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) will continue to have impressive backing for the 2012 season.

On Friday, the ADRL officially announced that Summit Racing Equipment will return as the sponsor for the Top Sportsman class during the 2012 ADRL Tour.

The class, which will continue to be called the Summit Racing Equipment Top Sportsman class, debuted in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league last year and will continue to have the backing of Summit Racing Equipment going into its first full season.

“We really felt the Top Sportsman racers were going to be a natural fit when the ADRL announced the addition of the class to the race line up in 2011. This proved to be a successful move and we were proud to support the racers with the class sponsorship,” Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports and Events Manager Jim Greenleaf said.

Classic Graphix Continues As Official Apparel And Crew Uniform Supplier Of ADRL In 2012

O’FALLON, MO – The 2011 season was the first time Classic Graphix and owner Scott Bathurst went on the road with the American Drag Racing League (ADRL).

That Classic Graphix has returned as the Official Apparel and Crew Uniform Supplier of the ADRL in 2012 indicates how well the first year went.

The world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league announced the continued partnership on Tuesday, as Classic Graphix will continue to provide all of the official apparel and merchandise for the 2012 ADRL Tour as well as run the official ADRL online apparel store (www.adrlapparel.com).

Additionally, Classic Graphix will also present the Best Appearing Crew award at each of the 10 events in 2012.

“Last year was a new experience for us and it was a very interesting year. It was great to be out there to talk to all the fans, and we are definitely bringing things to the next level in 2012,” Bathurst said.

Summit Steps Up Sponsorship Commitments For ADRL In 2012

O’FALLON, MO – One of the American Drag Racing League’s (ADRL) longest running partners is returning with greatly increased support for the highly-anticipated 2012 season.

The world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league announced on Friday that Summit Racing Equipment will retain its status as the Official High Performance Source of the ADRL for the 2012 ADRL Tour.

The high-performance automotive supplier will also be heavily involved in a number of other areas regarding the 2012 ADRL season.

Summit Racing Equipment returns as the title sponsor for the Summit Racing Equipment Ohio Drags VI presented by Mickey Thompson, which takes place on Sept. 28-29 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk.

ADRL Tickets On Sale For CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII In Houston

O’FALLON, MO – Fans can now secure their spot at the first two stops on the 2012 American Drag Racing League (ADRL) Tour.

The ADRL announced on Thursday that tickets are now available for purchase for the first race of the 2012 season, CarSafe Dragpalooza VIII, which takes place on March 30-31 at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston, and the second race, the Spring Drags III, which takes place on April 20-21 and marks the ADRL’s first trip to Bristol Dragway.

It is the first two of 10 stops on the 2012 ADRL Tour and the first two races to showcase the revolutionary new ADRL SuperCar Showdown.

Tickets are $15 per day for adults. Children 12-under are admitted free. Parking for each event is $10 per day.

O’FALLON, MO – After an overwhelming reception to the announcement of its new SuperCar Showdown, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) has released details of the revolutionary category which distinguishes the class from all others in the sport. Although interpreted by some as a division that would include only the high-performance production models of traditional American manufacturers, the format of the ADRL SuperCar Showdown series will, in fact, allow vehicles from virtually any automaker in the world.

The ADRL SuperCar Showdown will showcase the latest factory-produced, dealership-available automobiles in all-out drag racing with no handicap starts or performance restrictions. While current offerings from the Ford Motor Company, the Chrysler Corporation and General Motors will take center stage in the initial events, there are few limits to the variety of machines that are eligible to compete.

O’FALLON, MO – One of the most recognizable names in the Pro Modified world will be an official contingency sponsor in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) for the first time in 2012.

Pat Musi and Pat Musi Performance will pay contingency in Pro Nitrous, Pro Modified and Top Sportsman to drivers who use Pat Musi Performance Engines in the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league, the ADRL announced on Monday.

“We’re really excited about the ADRL and the direction it is headed. We love racing in the ADRL and having the Pro Modified class as an official class in 2012 is great,” Musi said.

“We’re pretty excited about the whole program and everyone there seems dedicated to making the ADRL successful. We want to help the guys that run our engines and help the ADRL, and we can all grow together.”

RJ Race Cars, Quartermax Continue Strong Relationship With ADL As 2012 Sponsor

O’FALLON, MO – The 2011 American Drag Racing League (ADRL) season was the first full year RJ Race Cars and Quartermax were involved as sponsors with the world’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league.

The inaugural and banner year went so well that the company has returned as a sponsor for the 2012 ADRL Tour.

The ADRL officially announced the sponsorship on Thursday, extending an already strong partnership.

“We’re excited to be a part of the ADRL and returning as a sponsor. Where we race, I try to support the sanctioning body and that’s what we’re doing. It’s a great family atmosphere with the ADRL and that’s what we enjoy,” RJ Race Cars and Quartermax President Rick Jones said.
