O’FALLON, MO – Even two weeks after it had become official, it still had not totally sunk in for American Drag Racing League (ADRL) Pro Extreme world champion Mick Snyder.
The congratulations still come frequently from residents in his hometown of Demotte, Ind. and Snyder will also have his Powersource Transportation Corvette on display at the upcoming International Motorsports Industry Show (IMIS) and its Hall of Champions display.
All of it remains overwhelming for Snyder, who turned in one of the most impressive seasons in Pro Extreme history. He won three straight races in one of the best stretches in the storied history of the class, holding off teammate Jason Scruggs in a thrilling points race to capture his first ADRL world championship.

League (ADRL) in 2012.
When it was over, the Pro Nitrous standout had a collection of special moments, including his first finals appearance, his first ADRL win, his first run in the 3.70s and, ultimately, his first world championship.
Crossing one item after another off his bucket list as the season progressed, Rahaim ended it with the biggest moment in his drag racing career, sharing it with his family-based team in the process.
Finishing with three wins and five final appearances, which led to his 2012 Pro Nitrous championship, Rahaim was lucky enough to truly experience a dream season.

O’FALLON, MO – Alan Pittman had never won a world championship in drag racing before 2012.
Along with a number of other significant items, the standout American Drag Racing League (ADRL) Mickey Thompson Extreme 10.5 driver can now check that item off his bucket list as well.
Thanks to wins in the first two events of the year, a third later in the season and a number of consistent performances, Pittman was the wire-to-wire points leader in the class as he cruised to the world championship in Mickey Thompson Extreme 10.5.
The magnitude of the accomplishment wasn’t lost on Pittman, either.
“This is the first world championship that I’ve ever won, so this is definitely very special to me,” Pittman said. “I’ve got to thank Greta and Terry Leggett for giving me the opportunity to race this car, and the ADRL for giving me a place to race.
