V. Gaines NHRA 4 Wide Nationals Pre-Race Report

Charlotte, NC – Spring time in Charlotte, NC. means the NHRA is making it’s first stop at Z-Max Raceway. The most unique race the NHRA puts on starts today as the 4 Wide Nationals get underway.

V Gaines and his Kendall Motor Oil Team made a quick stop for testing in Tulsa before setting up shop at Z-Max Raceway. “The last time we were here in Charlotte, things kinda went crazy for us” V Gaines. “We started the 2015 season with a brand new Dart and every time we head down a track we get valuable information and we are looking forward to the race this weekend” Gaines.

Last years fall race at Z-Max Raceway, V went for a wild ride as his Pro Stock car crashed at the finish line. “You just have to put that type of thing behind you and stay focused on the race this weekend” V goes on to tell us.

The Kendall Motor Oil guys have the Pro Stock Dart ready to face off against 3 other cars each and every time they go to the starting line at the 4 Wide’s.
