V. Gaines Headed to Epping for the NHRA New England Nationals

For the second week in a row V Gaines and his Kendall Motor Oil Dart are ready to do battle in the 2015 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series. This week they have set up camp at New England Dragway just North of Boston.

When putting things together for this update it was hard not to think about asking Tom Brady to come check Tire Pressure for us this weekend…oops…but we better not go there. Although being a race team based out of Denver it’s hard to pass up….

Last weekend V and the guys had an up and down weekend in E-Town. “The weekend started out a little slow for us as we struggled during Friday’s qualifying but Clyde and the guys turned it around for Saturday” V tells us. A couple of solid runs on Saturday set things up for race day.

On Sunday V and the guys ended the weekend on an up by going to their first Semi Final round of the season. After a good hole shot win in round one the guys had a good old fashion pedal fest in round two. “Round two was kinda crazy, I knew the Kendall Dart did not launch as planned…then I heard Clyde saying go, go, go in the headset so I stomped on the gas again and well, we pulled off a fun win” V Gaines.

A weekend full of solid team work at English Town has the Kendall Motor Oil guys pumped up for this weekend in Epping. Last year the event was sold out and the fans in the area are fun to be around. The area offers a ton of racing history and everyone treats the teams with respect. “We love it” Rick Semm tells us.
