V. Gaines has the Avenger Ready for Dallas after the crash in Charolett!

Ennis, TX – Our 2014 Mean Teeth Tour took an interesting turn last weekend in Charlotte. Racing in the first round of competition V Gaines went for a wild ride at the finish line and the new Kendall Motor Oil Dodge Dart ended up rolling through the lights at the finish line.

” It was a crazy ride to say the least” V Gaines talking about the adventure. “Clyde West told me others were having trouble in my lane and I was ready to take action if needed” he continues “The car made such a quick move there was no way I could have been ready for that”

V ended up winning the first round in the Countdown race even with his mishap. His opponent had already crossed the center line and in the NHRA rules it is a first or worst case. The remainder of the race was re-scheduled for this weekend in Dallas which allowed the Kendall Motor Oil team to race a backup car if they could get one ready.

Clyde, Rick, Gary, Roger, Bob, and many more went to work on the teams Avenger race car that had been sitting since April. “Watching the guys work was amazing” V Gaines. “I really do have an awesome group of guys”.

“This will be a BIG weekend to say the least” Rick Semm tells us. “There are points for two races up for grabs, with the countdown starting things could really be crazy by Sunday night”

V and the entire team enjoyed all the well wishes, words of encouragement, and pictures that friends, fans, and family sent to them via Facebook. “It’s pretty easy to point out all the stuff that is wrong with this or that….but when you look at V’s Facebook page you see the GOOD in people and the good in this sport”.
