V Gaines Car Quest NHRA Nationals Wild Hores Pass Motorsports Park Pre Race Report

V Gaines and his Kendall Motor Oil team have arrived at the 2nd race in the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello season in Phoenix AZ. Two weeks ago the guys unloaded the Fuel Injected version of the Kendall Motor Oil Dart in Pomona. As with every Pro Stock team the learning curve is steep and the guys did a great job. V came up a little short in round one but the guys gathered some great data.

Have to laugh a little; we had put together a great press release before Pomona and wrote about the change to FI, the other changes on the car, it was full of great information….the thing with a press release is it only works if you hit the send button and release it. Duh….

Think by now most have the scoop on things and we will just keep moving forward. One of the fun things we are kicking off this year is the “Showin the Sign” program. Hey if you are at a race make sure and show V and the guys the two finger Kendall Motor Oil sign. Now just to be clear it is really important to use two fingers please. If everyone was to just use let’s say one finger…well it might not work the same. You can also share your ‘Showin the Sign” picture on V’s Facebook page!
