V. Gaines at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Northwest Nationals Seattle, WA

After a strong showing and a runner up finish last weekend in Sonoma California, V Gaines and his Kendall Motor Oil team are making the third and final stop in the NHRA’s Western swing. Pacific Raceway outside of Seattle is a beautiful facility in a spectacular part of the country.

“This city, these fans, this entire area make this a special place to race every year” Gaines.

Last weekend the guys put together an impressive string of runs that started in qualifying and ended with a great race in the finals. “It felt good to go some rounds and earn some points, that’s for sure”. V Gaines.

The team also had the opportunity to spend some time with Ms. Forbyn in Sonoma. She is the teacher from Salt Lake City whose class named our 2014 Mean teeth Tour. If you follow along with V through his Facebook page we have been telling the story how this class uses NHRA Drag Racing and the Kendall Motor Oil team in their studies. We are looking forward to meeting her 2015 class as well.
