Uncle Bob’s Self Storage partners with the Western New York Super Rod Association
Rochester, NY – The Tread City Tire / Western New York Super Rod Association (WNYSRA) announced today that Uncle Bob’s Self Storage of
Buffalo, New York has agreed to become a major race sponsor of the popular sportsman racing series. Thus, the race at Empire Dragway on Saturday, September 27th will officially be presented by Uncle Bob’s Self Storage.
Jason Oldfield, Co-Founder of the Tread City Tire / Western New York Super Rod Association, stated, “We are thrilled to have Uncle Bob’s Self Storage on board as a major sponsor for the 2014 racing season. When people think of storage in Western New York, they think of Uncle Bob’s Self Storage due to their enormous presence in the area. So, we strongly believe that this partnership will help us reach new potential fans for our series, but in addition we also feel that our existing fans and competitors will be very interested in learning more about the moving and storage products and services that Uncle Bob’s provides to their customers.”

The Tread City Tire / Western New York Super Rod Association returns to Empire Dragway tomorrow, September 27th. Gates open at 9:30 am, with open time trials for all competitors starting at 10:30 am. WNYSRA qualifying sessions are currently scheduled for 11:00 am and 12:30 pm, with final eliminations slated to start at 2:00 pm.
