Las Vegas – We start off with Brittany Force’s big speed number 1 shot, she ran 3.697 seconds at a massive 338.85 mph in her Chevrolet Accessories Top Fuel Dragster to take the top spot in Top Fuel and reset a new speed recorded at Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Force will be looking for her second consecutive Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection win on race day.
Next up is reigning Funny Car world champion Austin Prock. He took the provisional No. 1 qualifier spot in his Cornwell Tools Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car on Friday at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection with the help of his 3.895 second pass at 334.48 mph at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. If it holds for best of the field on Saturday, it will mark Prock’s seven No. 1 qualifier of the season.
Cory Reed, Pro Stock powered his J&A Service Chevrolet Camaro to a 6.597-second pass at 206.32 to land in the provisional No. 1 spot on Friday at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Last we have another Reigning champ, this time in Pro Stock Motorcycle. Gaige Herrera took the provisional No. 1 qualifying spot on Friday at the Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in his RevZilla/Motul/Vance & Hines Suzuki when he ran a 6.800-second pass at 199.76 mph at the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection.
