Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience Announces New Dates, Locations for 2014

MOORESVILLE, NC – Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience announced today additional changes to their new and improved program heading into the 2014 season. Formerly Doug Foley’s Drag Racing School, Pure Speed is increasing its West Coast presence, adding dates and locations to supplement their strong program along the east coast and throughout the Midwest. By visiting tracks in the previously untapped Las Vegas and Los Angeles markets, Pure Speed hopes to solidify their place on the west coast.

Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience, owned and operated by former Top Fuel driver Doug Foley, announced in late October a multi-year exclusive partnership with The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Pure Speed will host monthly events in Las Vegas through spring of 2014, then expand to weekly on-track events in October, filling in their time with Las Vegas trade show-related corporate events. Recent additions to the 2014 schedule will also take the school to Auto Club Dragway near Los Angeles.

Pure Speed’s initial experience in Las Vegas during the SEMA convention showed the potential of the school’s future in the entertainment capital.

“We received a lot of positive feedback during our time in Vegas. The local fans were happy to see a program like ours enter the market. A drag racing entertainment experience hasn’t been available to Las Vegas visitors until now. We also spoke with several hotel concierges, who are excited to work with us,” said Doug Foley, Pure Speed president.

As Pure Speed enters its first Christmas season under a new name, Doug sees the company’s positive changes working as anticipated.

“The holiday season is a very busy time for us. We sold over one hundred programs last week alone. I believe some of the changes we incorporated into the new branding helped with those sales. Our new booking system is simple enough for anyone to use, whether they’re booking a ride-along or a licensing package at any of our locations across the country. Our additional weekend dates are also showing promise. Now, customers can enjoy their experience without having to take time off from work, which is hard to do in this economy,” Foley added.

Pure Speed will offer licensing, rides, and dragster driving experiences at Las Vegas, Fontana, Calif., Charlotte, Houston, Atlanta, Englishtown, Reading, Penn., Bristol, Tenn., Epping, NH, St. Louis, and Indianapolis.
