Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience Unveils New Website
MOORESVILLE, NC – Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience, a quickly expanding drag racing school and corporate 
entertainment company, has launched a new website as they gear up for a busy 2015 season.
Pure Speed, which started as a drag racing school to help new drivers earn their licenses and hone their skills, has gradually expanded to include an entertainment branch. This includes the Dragster Experience, two-seater Dragster Ride-Along’s and a new Camaro competition program. A new website, still located at www.PureSpeedRacing.com, was designed with the new entertainment customers in mind.
“We’ve made such growth into the entertainment side that the website really needs to be more of a user-friendly experience. Our goal was to explain the product better and to make the booking and scheduling system more seamless. When you’re offering 60 retail days a year, having a website that works is important,” explained Doug Foley, president of Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience.
Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience Helps to ‘Make-A-Wish’ Come True at Toyota Nationals
LAS VEGAS, NV – For Doug Foley and his Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience crew, making dreams of driving or riding in a 145 mile-per-hour 
dragster come true is a regular part of their daily job. However, Foley and Pure Speed recently had the opportunity to help make a very special wish come true for Make-A-Wish ‘Wish Kid’ Austin Zimmerline during the NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas. Pure Speed provided a pair of two-seat dragsters to allow Make-A-Wish, Terry Chandler, and Don Schumacher Racing to grant Zimmerline’s wish to drive a race car and win a race for a team.
Austin Zimmerline, a 17 year old boy from Louisville, Nebraska, was granted the wish because he has Cerebellum Atrophy, as well as Cerebral Palsy and Leukodystrophy. Austin was given controls of the Make-A-Wish branded two-seat dragster, while driving alongside co-pilot Tommy Johnson Jr., driver of the Terry Chandler-sponsored Make-A-Wish Funny Car campaigned by DSR. With packed grandstands and a crowd of NHRA professional teams and drivers supporting him on the starting line, Zimmerline and Johnson raced against former world champions Jack Beckman and Antron Brown in another Pure Speed two-seater. Austin and Tommy left the starting line first and led the race for the entire quarter-mile, winning with an elapsed time of 9.15 seconds at 146 MPH.
Foley to Race Pure Speed A/Fuel Dragster at Charlotte
CONCORD, NC – Former Top Fuel driver Doug Foley will be back behind the wheel of a nitro-injected A/Fuel dragster as the NHRA Mello 
Yello Series tour returns to his backyard for the Pep Boys Carolina Nationals at zMax Dragway, Sept. 12-14. Foley, who reached the final round at the 2012 Four-Wide Nationals, will drive Anthony Dicero’s A/Fueler with backing from Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience.
“Racing a 270 MPH Top Alcohol Dragster at Charlotte is the perfect opportunity for us to spread the word about what’s going on with our company,” said Foley, the president of Pure Speed. “This is the right time and place to promote our upcoming events as we head west next month.”
Formerly Doug Foley’s Drag Racing School, Pure Speed is continuing to change and expand after a thorough rebranding last fall. A growing corporate client base has influenced the launch of a new website, www.purespeedcorpevents.com, to offer a streamlined experience for customers who are looking to book corporate entertainment outings.
Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience Announces New Dates, Locations for 2014
MOORESVILLE, NC – Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience announced today additional changes to their new and improved program heading into the 2014 season. Formerly Doug Foley’s Drag Racing School, Pure Speed is increasing its West Coast presence, adding dates and locations to supplement their strong program along the east coast and throughout the Midwest. By visiting tracks in the previously untapped Las Vegas and Los Angeles markets, Pure Speed hopes to solidify their place on the west coast.
Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience, owned and operated by former Top Fuel driver Doug Foley, announced in late October a multi-year exclusive partnership with The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Pure Speed will host monthly events in Las Vegas through spring of 2014, then expand to weekly on-track events in October, filling in their time with Las Vegas trade show-related corporate events. Recent additions to the 2014 schedule will also take the school to Auto Club Dragway near Los Angeles.
Doug Foley Announces Rebranded Drag Racing Experience
MOORESVILLE, NC – After over fifteen years operating under the Doug Foley’s Drag Racing School and Experience name, former Top Fuel driver Doug Foley announced today the rebranding of his popular motorsports experience. The program, now known as the Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience, will undergo a series of changes to conclude the 2013 season. A partnership with The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and a brand-new website, including a state-of-the-art booking system, top the list of changes.
“There are several changes included in the rebranding of our company, but one of the biggest changes was improving the customer’s experience, from making the booking process easier to giving them something to take away from their time at one of Pure Speed’s events. We added several new locations and dates, including weekends, making it easier for customers to attend events. On-board video cameras have been added to the cars, allowing guests to take home a video of their Pure Speed experience. We have launched a new website that was designed with the intention of making the customer’s booking process as simple as possible,” said Doug Foley, president of Pure Speed Drag Racing Experience.
