October 2021 Osage Casino Hotel Tulsa Raceway Park Throw Down In T-Town & Mid-West Drag Racing Series!

Tulsa, OK – The Throwdown at T-Town has become one of the biggest races of the season and the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service is delivering twice the action this year.

The Throwdown will feature two races in one weekend, as the Mid-West Drag Racing Series will have two races over Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at Osage Casino Hotel Tulsa Raceway Park to make up for a cancelled race earlier in the year.

Best of all, you can get FREE tickets to see all the thrilling 200-mph action from the stars in Pro Mod and Top Alcohol Funny Car. The MWDRS has become highly-regarded for the stellar show it produces for fans, and the Throwdown at T-Town is a race put on by racers for racers. This one might be the biggest one yet, and you can get free tickets to take in incredible racing from standout drivers competing in 12 classes.

“The Throwdown at T-Town has become one of those races you simply can’t miss,” track co-owner Keith Haney said. “It’s just become a huge event and to have two races in one weekend, it’s definitely going to be a heck of a show. There will be teams fighting it out for a championship, double the points, double the purse and double the action. It’s going to be just a phenomenal weekend and we can’t wait.”

The Throwdown comes in the midst of a busy late-season stretch for the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series and marks the penultimate race of what’s been a terrific 2021 season. The racing has been intense, with star-making performances coming from the star drivers in the Pro Mod and Top Alcohol Funny Car ranks, giving fans the chance to take in the fastest doorslammer action in the world along with jaw-dropping Funny Car action.

Both MWDRS & Slammer categories will feature 16 car fields, with as much as $10,000 on the line! The Mid-West Drag Racing Series added in Top Alcohol Funny Car a year ago to go along with Top Sportsman and Top Dragster as well. Tulsa will also feature the all popular classes Pro-Street, Outlaw Gassers, Jr Pro1, Jr Pro2 and added for this race Super Pro, 6.0 Index and foot brake classes.

“These racers travel from all over for the chance to race of front of what will be a huge crowd,” Haney said. “They know the racing surface is top-notch and they relish getting the chance to race in front of fans who love great action.”

The Throwdown at T-Town has established itself as a premier racing event catering to all audiences. Simply put, Haney and co-owner Todd Martin know how to put on a show and “Martin” educates the fans during any downtime and through-out the whole event.
