MICKEY THOMPSON RETURNS AS A CONTINGENCY SPONSOR FOR THE 2011 AHDRA SEASON

STOW, OH – Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels is proud to return to the All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) racing scene as a 2011 contingency sponsor. The company will be posting awards for 16 classes including eight professional classes, and eight sportsman classes, ranging from the 230 mile per hour Top Fuel bikes, to the highly competitive ET Class.

“We have been working with the AHDRA for many years, and we are proud of that,” stated Carl Robinson, Motorsports Manager, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. “If you’re racing a Harley, this is the place to be. AHDRA racers and their crews are great to work with and are always willing to spend time with their fans.”

The AHDRA, celebrating 34 years in 2011, has seen consistent growth over the years. Racer participation that started with 50 to 60 entries now includes 250 to 450 entries and 5,000 to
12,500 attendees.
