MICKEY THOMPSON ANNOUNCES MIROCK PRO MOD CLASS AND TITLE SPONSORSHIP

STOW, OH – Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels returns as official title and Pro Mod class sponsor in support of the MIROCK Superbike Series in 2012.

“When it comes to motorcycle drag racing, the MIROCK Series has been the cornerstone and we appreciate the opportunity to support the growth and success of this competitive series,” said Tom Kundrik, Motorsports Manager, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. “The addition of the Pro Mod class created a lot of excitement for the fans and additional exposure for the venue, and we’re looking forward to another great year.”

The Mickey Thompson Pro Mod class awards are as follows:

$2,500 – Winner
$1,000 – Runner-up
$250 – Semi-finals winner
$150 – Quarter-mile finals winner
$75 – Eighth-mile finals winner

The Pro Mod class will also have a championship point series. The winner will be awarded $1,000, a MIROCK Championship Gold Card, an Iron Tree Trophy and a MIROCK Championship Jacket. Spring Nationals kick off on April 28. For more information, visit http://www.mirockracing.com.
