Mickey Thompson Announces Contingency Sponsorship of the 10th Annual MOPARS at the STRIP

STOW, OH – Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels is proud to return to Las Vegas racing in 2012 for the tenth annual Mopars at the Strip (MATS) as a contingency program sponsor.
 
“This annual event is like a big family reunion, and we look forward to it every year,” stated Tom Kundrik, Motorsports Manager, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. “Some people call it the ‘Big Motorsports Party’, or the ‘MoParty’ for short, and that couldn’t be more true. We’re glad to be back in Las Vegas again this year providing contingency awards to racers and it will be wonderful to celebrate ten great years with these folks.”

Held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, MATS is scheduled April 13-15, 2012. From the rock and roll cruises to the quarter mile competitions, the event offers non-stop fun. The car show includes a vast array of vehicles from all over the country. The Manufacturer’s Midway and Swap Meet offer every type of performance product imaginable. While there, visitors and competitors can select from a menu of activities, or a menu of great food that includes the famous “HEMI Burger”.
