Meet seven-time Top Fuel champion Tony Schumacher at Kannapolis Wal-Mart Supercenter, win tickets to zMAX Dragway from Mello Yello

KANNAPOLIS, NC – Seven-time Mello Yello NHRA Top Fuel Champion Tony “The Sarge” Schumacher and the U.S. Army 10,000-horsepower dragster show car will be at the Kannapolis Wal-Mart SuperCenter (2420 SuperCenter Dr. NE, Kannapolis, NC) on Thursday, Sept. 11.

From 5-6:30 p.m., fans will have the opportunity to meet the winningest driver in NHRA Top Fuel history and see the U.S. Army dragster. Schumacher will sign autographs and take photos with those in attendance. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win tickets to the zMAX Dragway event that kicks off the six-race Countdown to the Championship on Sept. 12.

The U.S. Army team comes into Charlotte following their $100,000 Traxxas Top Fuel Shootout title on Aug. 30 in Indy en route to Schumacher’s 75th career No. 1 qualifying award. Schumacher has won two events in 2014 and begins his quest for his eighth title ranking fourth heading into the Countdown to the Championship.
