HIGHT WIN REWARDS LUCKY FAN WITH 55” FLATSCREEN

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – For the sixth straight year, John Force Racing has won the Chevrolet Performance NHRA U.S. Nationals event at Lucas Oil Raceway.  This is JFR’s fourth win of the season; the first for driver of the Auto Club of Southern California Ford Mustang Funny Car, Robert Hight.

The 17-time championship team was able to give away a 55” flatscreen TV to lucky fan James Redwine of Canaan, Ind. at the NHRA Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals, compliments of BrandSource and the “Win with Force” promotion.

“Mike Neff (crew chief) came to me and said, ‘if we win or if we lose, we’re in it together,’ and it was just like this huge weight was lifted off of me. We went out there and did our job. Mike Neff has won the last two U.S. Nationals, but we’re six for six here; six in a row at John Force Racing,” said Hight.

Hight, doubling as driver and President of JFR, took out Cruz Pedregon, Johnny Gray, Del Worsham and Jack Beckman to pick up his first win of 2013.

“It makes it even more special because we’re based right down the street here in Brownsburg, Ind. and all of our fabricators and machine shop guys; all these guys that are behind the scenes working night and day to keep us on the race track, they’re out here. They don’t get to travel with us around the country, so it’s really cool that they’re going to get to come in the Winner’s Circle and have a heck of a celebration tonight,” said Hight.

At each NHRA national event when a JFR team qualifies No. 1 a lucky fan that has signed up at the JFR “Win with Force” display located in Nitro Alley will be eligible to win the BrandSource No. 1 Qualifier Award, a front loading washer and dryer set.  If a JFR driver wins the event a different fan will win the 55” flat screen TV Winner’s Circle Award from BrandSource.  At the end of the season a grand prize winner of the “Win with Force” Sweepstakes will be awarded a 2013 Castrol Edge Ford Mustang GT premium edition.

Fans can sign up to win at the John Force Racing interactive midway display. This 53-foot trailer will be in the Nitro Alley area of every NHRA Mello Yello Series national event in 2013. The “Win with Force” promotion now includes JFR team partners Castrol, BrandSource, Ford, and Mac Tools, all joining together to create an incredible promotion for the fans. Last year, John Force Racing won ten races and was No. 1 qualifier seven times.
