Hale Earns DRO AA/FC Victory over Rupert and Resets Record

STOW, OH – Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels congratulates John Hale for a stunning performance against Jason Rupert in the Drag Racing Online (DRO) AA/FC Challenge action at the Rockabilly Rod Reunion at the Strip in Las Vegas.

Defending 2011 DRO AA/FC Challenge Champion John Hale was pitted against the DRO AA/FC Challenge 2011 Heritage Series Champion Jason Rupert in the finals. Hale achieved a scorching 5.737/251.81 mph victory over Rupert’s 5.848/252.19 mph finish and set a new elapsed time record for the series.

DRO AA/FC Series competition culminates in the October NMRA/NMCA World Street Finals and LSX Shootout in Indianapolis. Winning AA/FC racers using Mickey Thompson tires and displaying the Mickey Thompson logo decal earn $300, with $100 awarded to runners up.
