Fans, friends to join NHRA pro racers on Dec. 9 at Western Bowl in Indy to raise funds for Riley

BROWNSBURG, IN – Top professional drag racers including 2015 NHRA Top Fuel world champion Antron Brown will join drag racing fans and friends on Wednesday, Dec. 9, to help outstanding programs at Riley Hospital for Children and Riley Children’s Foundation during Don Schumacher Racing’s sixth annual “Bowling for Riley” event.

Fans and Riley families will bowl with NHRA drag racers Brown, Tommy Johnson Jr., Shawn Langdon, J.R. Todd and others for a fun evening at the spacious 80-lane Western Bowl bowling center at 6441 W. Washington Street. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with registration and food service followed by three games of “strike-or-nine/no-tap” bowling that starts at 7:40.

The Riley Children’s Foundation receives all proceeds from the tournament that will feature the fun No-Tap scoring format where nine pins down on the first ball also scores as a strike.

All entries for 4-person teams and individuals include VIP access to the Hall of Fame private room for food and soft drinks along with a special event t-shirt and shoe rental. The entry fee is $60 per bowler with non-bowling spectators admitted for $10; children 12 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult. A cash bar will be available.

There’s plenty of time to mingle with the NHRA stars for autographs and photo opportunities.
