Racing team on breaking the NHRA Pro Stock national record (ET) and known world record. Running on VP Racing C25 Race Fuel and Pro Grade 0W Engine Oil, Anderson set the record at the 2025 NHRA season opener, the Gatornationals in Gainesville, FL.

SCAG PRO Superstar Shootout Adds VP Racing Fuels as Official Fuel
INDIANAPOLIS – In less than a month many of the top professional teams in drag racing will be participating in the 2nd annual SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout, February 6-8, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida. VP Racing Fuels, was announced today as the Official Fuel for the multi-day racing event and will have a significant presence at Bradenton Motorsports Park. INDIANAPOLIS – NHRA officials announced today that VP Racing Fuels, Inc., the global leader in performance fuels, lubricants and additives, has been named the exclusive “Official Racing Fuel of NHRA” starting during the 2025 NHRA season as part of an exciting long-term agreement.
As part of a multi-year partnership, VP Racing Fuels, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2025, will be the official supplier of nitromethane to Top Fuel and Funny Car teams in the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. VP’s standout C-25 Racing Fuel will also be the official spec fuel for Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle teams in the professional ranks, while multiple VP fuels will be used in Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown and the new Holley EFI Factory X category.

VP Racing Fuels to Provide Service Partnership for PRO Superstar Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park
BRADENTON, FL – When the professionals of drag racing, as well as sportsman racers, get ready to fire up their engines at the inaugural 
SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout presented by Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage, they will be burning VP Racing Fuels. Race officials announced today that VP Racing Fuels will be supplying the nitromethane, plus methanol and racing gas for the event that’s set for Feb. 8-10 at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
“We’ve formed a partnership with VP Racing Fuels, and we trust them in handling nitromethane,” said PRO Vice President Chad Head. “We looked at all of our options and they came with the best package to service all of our needs, and they have the best program for not only the event, but for the owners and the teams. Alan Cerwick, Freddie Turza, and Chris Wall have been very easy to work with, taking care of all of our needs and dealing with Homeland Security.”
“We’re all excited about having the opportunity to participate and be a part of this event,” said Freddie Turza, Technical Manager at VP Racing Fuels. “We have close ties to the majority of the professional teams from our previous 20-year relationship with the NHRA as the official fuel. For the past 10 years, we’ve been on the outside looking in and not able to provide service, so we’re excited to get back to an event of this magnitude and the PRO group to service the teams we know and respect.”
VP Racing Announces Licensing Agreement Renewal with Mr. Brands
San Antonio, TX – VP Racing Fuels, Inc., the world leader in performance fuels, lubricants, additives, and retail, announced the renewal of 
their licensing agreement with Mr. Brands, an automotive accessory consumer product manufacturer.
“Mr. Brands has proven to be an incredible licensee over the past three years,” said Bob Merz, Director of Brand Management and Licensing for VP Racing. “Mr. Brands’ product quality and ever-expanding line of automotive accessories is a perfect extension of the VP Racing brand into new product categories and distribution channels, reaching more consumers every day.”
To kick off the new term, Mr. Brands is launching a new line of VP Racing branded auto cleaning tools, including an assortment of cleaning and detailing brushes, wash mitts, applicators, and microfiber towels. This is in addition to the existing line of VP Racing branded auto accessories, automotive snow tools, and jumper cables.
