DEBUT OF RIGHT TRAILERS OUTLAW STREET SERIES SET FOR NHRA’S STOP AT ZMAX DRAGWAY

INDIANAPOLIS – NHRA announced today that the thrilling new Right Trailers Outlaw Street Series, which features some of the major names from the famous Street Outlaws franchise, will debut on April 24-26 at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte as part of NHRA’s 4-Wide Nationals.

The exciting new showcase for 2026 will feature 10 drivers, with three rounds of qualifying over the course of Friday and Saturday in Charlotte, followed by semifinals and finals on Sunday at zMAX Dragway.

The loaded field for the debut and the four-race series will include the biggest names and the legendary figures from Street Outlaws, including Shawn Ellington, Ryan Martin, Scott Taylor, Jeff Lutz and more. The full field for the first race in Charlotte will be revealed in the coming weeks, but the excitement level is high for the group set to make their NHRA debut during the 75th anniversary season.

“I think this is an incredible opportunity for NHRA and our outlaw group to work together,” Taylor said. “We are excited to come out and light the boards with our steel roof and quarter cars, as I truly believe it will shock the world to see how fast these cars are. The Right Trailers NHRA Top Fuel All-Star Callout takes place Saturday, March 7, as part of the season-opening Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at legendary Gainesville Raceway, kicking off NHRA’s yearlong 75th anniversary celebration.

Eight top drivers in the Top Fuel category will face off in a unique one-day specialty event, with reigning world champ and defending Callout winner Doug Kalitta as the No. 1 seed.

TOP FUEL ALL-STAR CALLOUT RETURNS TO OPEN NHRA’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON AT GATORNATIONALS

GAINESVILLE, FL – As part of the season-opening kickoff to NHRA’s 75th anniversary in 2026, the NHRA Top Fuel All-Star Callout returns to Gainesville Raceway, taking place on Saturday, March 7 as part of the 56th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.

The specialty race features a loaded eight-car field, including defending Callout winner and reigning world champion Doug Kalitta. He earned the top seed in the unique bonus race that offers a big purse and bragging rights to open the milestone campaign. The rest of the field, in order, includes Kalitta’s teammate, Shawn Langdon, 2025 Gatornationals winner Antron Brown, racing legend Tony Stewart, Justin Ashley, Clay Millican, Shawn Reed and 2023 Callout winner Josh Hart.

With the unique Callout format, Kalitta will get to pick his opening-round opponent. Langdon will get the next selection until all the first-round matchups are set. Pomona, CA – Doug Kalitta won the 2025 Right Trailers Top Fuel All-Star Callout over Brittany Force on Friday at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals. Kalitta raced to a 3.657-second pass at 335.15 mph to win the speciality race at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

KALITTA LEADS OFF 65TH ANNUAL LUCAS OIL NHRA WINTERNATIONALS WITH RIGHT TRAILERS TOP FUEL ALL-STAR CALLOUT WIN

B. Force, Capps and Anderson also roll to provisional No. 1 spot at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip

POMONA, CA – Doug Kalitta claimed the victory in Friday’s Right Trailers Top Fuel All-Star Callout at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, defeating Brittany Force in the final round of the bonus race as part of the 65th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals.

Force (Top Fuel), Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) are the provisional No. 1 qualifiers at the third of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.

The bonus race was postponed from the NHRA opener in Gainesville and completed Friday in Pomona, as Kalitta went 3.657-seconds at 335.15 mph in his 11,000-horsepower Mac Tools dragster to power past Force in the championship round of the big-money race.

Kalitta, the 2023 world champion, defeated Clay Millican and Antron Brown earlier in the day to reach the finals, adding another special moment at the track where he earned his first world title less than two years ago. Continue reading

POMONA, CA – Justin Ashley has a chance to do something special this weekend at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip, as the Top Fuel star enters the historic 65th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals with three straight wins at the legendary race.

A handful of drivers have won the Winternationals three consecutive times, but only one driver in NHRA history – Don Prudhomme in Funny Car in 1975-1978 – has won the race four years in a row. That gives Ashley a historic opportunity to become the first Top Fuel driver to accomplish the impressive feat and just the second overall in NHRA history to win four straight years at one of the most historic races on the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series tour.

Known for its storied history, In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip has seen some of the sport’s biggest moments and this season’s Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals will be one of the biggest yet. GAINESVILLE, FL – Due to inclement weather at Gainesville Raceway, NHRA officials announced today the Right Trailers Top Fuel All-Star Callout will move to the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, which takes place March 27-30 at In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

Selections for the big-money bonus race were made on Friday in Gainesville and will carry over to Pomona. Top seed Steve Torrence will take on Tony Stewart as his opening-round opponent in the Right Trailers Top Fuel All-Star Callout, while Doug Kalitta and Clay Millican will face off in the opening round. Shawn Langdon and defending world champion Antron Brown will race while the final first-round pair features Justin Ashley and Brittany Force.

Stewart will move into the eighth spot as Tony Schumacher will not be racing in Gainesville. The eight-time Top Fuel world champion and 88-time event winner is expected to announce his racing plans for 2025 in the coming weeks.
