Route 66 Raceway to Host NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing on July 30-Aug. 2, 2015
Santa Ana, CA – The ProMedia Competition Department is proud to announce that the Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag 
Racing will be held at the historic Route 66 Raceway from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2, 2015. On this weekend, Joliet will be ready to host one of the biggest and most popular events of the season. And with the recently renewed contract between ProMedia LLC and Route 66 Raceway, the famed Super Bowl of Drag Racing has a home through the year 2020.
ProMedia National Event Director Rollie Miller said, “Our entire team is thrilled to continue the relationship with Scott Paddock, Ken Kohrs and their staff through 2020. Route 66 Raceway is one of the best facilities in the country and their team is a pleasure to work with.” Miller continued, “We are excited to keep our Super Bowl Event in Joliet.”
16th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA World Finals Race Wrap
Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky hosts an action-packed event where records were broken and champions were crowned!
Santa Ana, CA – The 2014 racing season has been an insanely-competitive one, making the weeks leading up to the 16th Annual Nitto Tire 
NMRA All-Ford World Finals filled with anticipation. This was the closing event of the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals series. As the weekend progressed, so did the excitement as championship battles came closer to a head. By the end of Sunday’s activities the NMRA had crowned 10 new World Champions and 12 class winners.
In ATF Speed Street Outlaw, reigning champion Phil Hines led the qualifying with a record-shattering 6.87 at 202. That pass put him at the top of the field, but also lifted a cylinder head, putting his championship bid in peril. The championship came down to the semis, where Hines met John Urist, and the repaired cylinder head didn’t hold, causing Hines to skim the wall and allowing Urist to advance into the final and take the championship. Urist capped off his ninth championship with an anti-climactic final round single as Andy Manson was unable to make the final round call.
World Finals for the World’s Fastest Street Cars!
Santa Ana, CA – The 13th Annual FEL-PRO NMCA World Street Finals is the final event of the 2014 NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals 
and the 2014 Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series. It’s the biggest American muscle car drag race of the year and it’s where the 2014 NMCA Champions are crowned! The points race is close in several classes so the racing is bound to be some of the best yet. This is a MUST ATTEND event for racers, sponsors, media and spectators.
Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis was the scene of last year’s NMCA World Finals and it did not disappoint! Records were set and spectators loved the close side-by-side action on the drag strip. This year, the 250+ mph heads up racing in Kooks Pro Mod and Stainless Works Street Outlaw is guaranteed to be exciting. Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Edelbrock Xtreme Street, ARP Nitrous Pro Street and several other classes deliver wheels up action every time. And there’s something for everyone, including entry-level racers who can join the ranks of Magnafuel Open Comp and Gear Vendors True Street.
8th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout at NMCA World Finals is Right Around the Corner!
Santa Ana, CA – The NMCA and Chevrolet Performance are pleased to present the 8th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout, which will 
once again take place at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana on the weekend of October 9-12, 2014. The event, held in conjunction with the NMCA World Finals, is the largest LS gathering in the country! Featuring awesome heads-up racing for the fastest LS-powered cars in the world, the LSX Shootout also includes index-style and True Street racing for competitors of all levels plus a giant all LS-powered car show. Brought to you by Chevrolet Performance, this is “the” LS event of the year, with over $50,000 in cash and prizes. As the final race of the Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series, this is the event where the 2014 champions will be crowned.
The LSX Shootout begins with an exclusive Chevrolet Performance-sponsored Racer Appreciation Party on Thursday, October 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This party, which takes place at the Hilton Garden Inn host hotel, will feature great food, drinks and the huge free parts raffle. Racers and crew will not miss this outstanding opening event!

Nationals will be held on May 1-3, 2015 at Maryland International Raceway (MIR) in Mechanicsville, Maryland. The family owned and operated facility is situated at nearly sea level for ideal atmospheric conditions. Meticulously maintained by Royce Miller and his family, the MIR quarter-mile is always ready for fast ETs and close competition.

This is one of the only events where all the stars and all the cars from the #1 All-Ford Motorsport Show and the World’s Fastest Street Cars compete against each other for the ultimate in bragging rights.
Every year, NMCA’s Pro Mod cars make blistering 250+ mph passes while NMRA’s Street Outlaw racers deliver thrilling side-by-side 200+ mph action. Atlanta’s loyal fans are typically on their feet screaming for more! Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green to Host NMRA and NMCA Events in 2015
Santa Ana, CA – With a successful 2014 season coming to a close, the ProMedia Competition Department is proud to announce two Bowling 
Green dates for the 2015 season. NMRA, the #1 All-Ford Motorsports Event will return to Beech Bend Raceway on October 1-4, 2015 and the NMCA has a brand new date for next year! The World’s Fastest Street Cars will be taking over Bowling Green on May 14-17, 2015, returning to the Kentucky location after a one-year sabbatical from the popular drag strip.
Highlights of the NMRA Keystone Automotive Series in Kentucky include the season-ending World Finals where champions are decided in all NMRA points categories. Nitto Tire rings are at stake as the racing gets more competitive than ever and the champions are decided in classes such as Street Outlaw, Renegade, Coyote Modified, and the extremely popular Terminator vs. GT500 showdown. Of course, there will be a giant all-Ford car show, swap meet, manufacturers’ midway and more!
ProMedia Announces 2015 Season Openers for NMRA & NMCA in Bradenton, Florida

The 21st NMRA Spring Break Shootout is scheduled for March 5-8, 2015 and the 13th Annual NMCA Muscle Car Nationals will take over Bradenton on March 20-22, 2015. Aerospace Components NHRA Unleashed Program with NMCA/NMCA WEST to Conclude in 2014
Santa Ana, CA – The Aerospace Components NHRA Unleashed program, which has been a part of NMCA & NMCA WEST events since 
mid-2011, will conclude with the final event in 2014. Having similar race categories, NMCA assisted NHRA by taking over the Unleashed program in mid-2011 to support their racers and sponsors. The Unleashed program continued with NMCA/NMCA WEST through a multi-year sponsorship for almost four years.
“Since we had the only series outside of NHRA that was able to award Wallys to racers, it was very special,” said Steve Wolcott, President & CEO of ProMedia Events. “We understood that the program would only last a few years and we were happy that we were able to partner with NHRA to bring their Unleashed program to a very deserving group of racers.”
