Announcer: Summit Motorsports Park Announcers call all of the action while entertaining racers and race fans. Good communication skills are required, as is stamina, as the race days are long.
Computer Operator: Summit Motorsports Park Computer Operators enter car numbers and dial-ins into the computer. The numbers affect the outcome of the race, so accuracy and focus at all times is crucial. Computer Operators must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Rocko Machine Steps Up to Support Summit Motorsports Park Racers

The company will be featured as the title sponsor for the 31st Annual Rocko Machine $40 Grand Nationals presented by Hughes Performance, and as a presenting sponsor for the Edelbrock Super Series Elite presented by Lucas Oil and Rocko Machine.

Norwalk, OH – The tenacity and true grit of Summit Motorsports Park racers took center stage at the 49th Annual Edelbrock Banquet of
Champions presented by Lincoln Electric, Jan. 28, 2023 at the completely remodeled Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio.
The compelling ceremony began with side by side entrances by Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Novice champion Ellieanna Oldenburg and her grandfather, Dan Johnson, Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Intermediate champion Keegan Beverly and his father, Adam Beverly, Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Advanced champion Logan Buckley and his father, Lucas Buckley, Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike champion Jeremy Hicks and his friend and fellow racer, Aubrey Collins, Edelbrock Pro champion A.J. Buchanan and his wife, Amy Buchanan, Edelbrock Super Pro champion Carl Keil and his wife, Kourtney Keil, and 2021 Bill Bader Sr. Sportsman of the Year Larry Strohscher and his wife, Nancy Strohscher. Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation champion Codie Balcom was not able to attend, but was with us in spirit.

Summit Motorsports Park Named 2022 Track of the Year by NMCA and NHRA
Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio has been named 2022 Track of the Year by the National Muscle Car Association
(NMCA) and the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) North Central Division.
The NMCA Track of the Year honor was presented at the Red Line Oil NMCA Muscle Car Nationals Awards Ceremony on Dec. 9, 2022 at the Indiana Convention Center, and recognized the action-packed 21st Annual NMCA All-American Nationals held last August at Summit Motorsports Park.
“The 21st Annual NMCA All-American Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park was a very popular event in 2022, and it was enhanced by several exiting elements,” said Rollie Miller, General Manager and National Event Manager for NMCA. “We were happy to name Summit Motorsports Park the 2022 NMCA Track of the Year.”
Planning is already underway for the 22nd Annual NMCA All-American Nationals, which is set for Aug. 24-27, 2023 at Summit Motorsports Park.

sponsors, categories and other information will be shared at a later date, but for now, mark your calendars for Sept. 21-24, 2023, and be part of this event with a distinct Summit Motorsports Park stamp on it.

Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire in Norwalk Elicited Excitement & Emotion
Norwalk, OH – After a year of planning, a production full of pomp and circumstance was presented to a packed house at the 45th Annual
Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire on Aug. 6, 2022 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Guests from across the country and Canada gathered, despite the heat and humidity, to see a wide variety of entertainers and racers give it everything they had to put on a show for them. Their stage was the track perfectly prepared by Summit Motorsports Park Track Manager Evan Bader, Kurt Johnson of Total Venue Concepts and a hardworking track crew. Ron Huntley and Summit Motorsports Park president Bill Bader Jr. called all of the amazing action.
As part of opening ceremonies, entertainers and racers paraded down track while being introduced by Bader Jr., who sported a tuxedo for this very special occasion. The Rhythm and Rhyme Barbershop Quartet performed “The Star-Spangled Banner,” and a giant flag was ceremoniously unfurled over the track surface by a team of people led by Bobbie Bader.
