Rocko Machine Steps Up to Support Summit Motorsports Park Racers

Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio is very pleased to announce a new partnership with Rocko Machine in Perry, Ohio.

The company will be featured as the title sponsor for the 31st Annual Rocko Machine $40 Grand Nationals presented by Hughes Performance, and as a presenting sponsor for the Edelbrock Super Series Elite presented by Lucas Oil and Rocko Machine.

The 31st Annual Rocko Machine $40 Grand Nationals presented by Hughes Performance, which is set for Sept. 1-3, 2023, is an esteemed annual event which welcomes racers from Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and other states. This year, they will be competing for an incredible guaranteed purse of $262,875.00

The Edelbrock Super Series Elite presented by Lucas Oil and Rocko Machine is a prestigious program that will see the top 32 racers in Edelbrock Super Pro, Edelbrock Pro and Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation, and the top 16 racers in Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike as of Aug.1 in a runoff as part of the Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire on Aug. 5. This year, they will be competing for an impressive guaranteed purse of $75,200.00.

Rocko Machine is owned by Dennis Rock, an Edebrock Super Pro racer at Summit Motorsports Park, and his wife, Sharon Rock. It offers CNC turning and milling for production or short-run orders for companies throughout northeastern Ohio that are part of the oil and gas exploration industries. It also reaches into the automotive aftermarket by developing products for racers, including a warm-up stand for dragsters.

“My wife, Sharon, and I were discussing ways in which we could further our involvement with Summit Motorsports Park, and we decided that a sponsorship would allow us to do that while also benefitting our fellow racers,” said Rock. “We want to give back, and this is a good opportunity to do just that.”
