Bellemeur Blasts to Top Alcohol Funny Car Track Record at Summit Motorsports Park
Norwalk, OH – With a 5.393 blast in his Bartone Brothers Racing 2022 Camaro-bodied car, Top Alcohol Funny Car racer Sean Bellemeur of 
Placentia, California, set a track elapsed time record during the first round of qualifying on May 31, 2024 at the 18th Annual University Hospitals Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. Backup passes are not required for track records.
Bellemeur, who won at this event last year, is a multi-time NHRA Top Alcohol Funny Car champion, and will be one to watch during Top Alcohol Funny Car eliminations on June 1 in his 2022 Camaro-bodied car sponsored by Red Line Oil, Roger Dean Chevrolet, Talon Air, NGK Spark Plugs, Mastercam, Simpson Performance Products and Taylor Motorsports Products.
“We have had a very exciting event this weekend, and to see Sean Bellemeur stop the clocks at 5.393 to set a Top Alcohol Funny Car track record certainly added to that excitement,” said Bill Bader, president of Summit Motorsports Park. “We are all anxious to see if he will run even quicker during eliminations on June 1, or if another racer will set a track record. This track is well-prepped between my son, Evan Bader, and the rest of the Summit Motorsports Park track team and the NHRA Division 3 track team, so another record is certainly possible.”
Ice Cream Bowl Trophies to Debut at University Hospitals Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser at Summit Motorsports Park
Norwalk, OH – The Ice Cream Scoop trophies given to winners of the annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit 
Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio are coveted and cherished.
Racers who have hoisted them in the winner’s circle are happy to have them, and now, winners of the annual University Hospitals Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser, an NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, will also be able to hoist a proper prize as Ice Cream Bowl trophies will be debuted at the 18th Annual University Hospitals Cavalcade of Stars presented by Budweiser on June 1, 2024 at Summit Motorsports Park. The Ice Cream Scoop and Ice Cream Bowl trophies are a nod to the park’s longstanding Velvet ice cream program.

For each points meet, Goodyear will pay $100 to winners and $50 to runners-up in Edelbrock Super Pro, Edelbrock Pro, Wiseco/CycleTech Super Bike and Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation. Edelbrock Banquet of Champions presented by Lincoln Electric, January 26-28, 2024 at the Sawmill Creek Resort in Huron, Ohio.
The celebratory ceremony began with side by side entrances by Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Novice champion Jacob Vile and his grandfather, Dan Johnson, Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Intermediate champion Trey Dean and his father, Michael Dean, Bear Motorsports Junior Dragster presented by Wiseco Advanced champion Braden Peters and his father, Mike Peters, Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation champion Joe Galanek and his daughter, Alyssa Willi, Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike champion Craig Adams and his wife, Jill Adams, Edelbrock Pro champion A.J. Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio is proud to announce that it is the new home of the NHRA North Central Division Summit ET Racing Series Team Finals beginning in 2024.

Summit Motorsports Park to Stage Showstopping Entertainment & Surprises in 2024
Norwalk, OH – Extraordinary entertainment, magical moments, rousing racing and professionally produced events will all be part of the 
2024 season at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
There will be enhanced elaborate events, amazing added attractions and familiar favorites, and it will all add up to an exceptional experience for racers and race fans.
The 47th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire is being completely reimagined and reinvigorated, and added elements include four Top Fuel cars to complement four Funny Cars, a jet engine-powered Freightliner truck, NHRA Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Dragsters and Top Alcohol Funny Cars in eight-car fields, two 280 mph jet engine-powered Funny Cars and pyrotechnics all around. Additionally, Friday Night Qualifying will be offered with free admission for fans who have tickets for Saturday.
By popular demand, America’s Racetrack will be the new home of the NHRA North Central Division Summit Racing Series Team Finals, Sept. 11-15, and the Edelbrock Super Series, a prestigious program that is profitable for points racers, will be contested at nine races beginning on April 20.
KYLE DOLAMORE WINS R&R AUTO BODY PAINT MY RIDE RACE AT SUMMIT MOTORSPORTS PARK
Norwalk, OH – With every twist of the throttle on his motorcycle, Kyle Dolamore is focused on the finish line. He knows what it takes to win, 
and he continues to set himself up for success.
His family of equally-exceptional riders, his fellow racers and his friends know that about him, and they were at his side when he rocketed to the win in the R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride Race, held during the TransTec Halloween Classic 50 presented by Harland Sharp on Oct. 12, 2023 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
Dolamore, of Columbia Station, Ohio, lined up alongside standout competitor Jim Ring of Sandusky, Ohio, in the final round of eliminations, and leaped off the starting line with an .027 reaction time and landed at a 5.18 elapsed time to defeat Ring, who arrived at a 7.46. With that, Dolamore, who a few weeks ago secured an eighth-place finish in this year’s Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike points at Summit Motorsports Park, made history by becoming the first motorcycle racer to win the longstanding R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride program, and has been rewarded with a professional paint scheme from the reputed shop in Cleveland, Ohio.
