Ford Nationals Series features an exciting line-up of events including the return to racetracks rich in history with the National Mustang Racers Association.
National Event Director Rollie Miller said, “Moving to Maple Grove Raceway puts us back into the exciting Philadelphia and New Jersey markets, we haven’t been there in a few years. We are looking forward to working with Lex Dudas and his staff, bringing back the Ford Motorsport Nationals to Maple Grove.”
NMRA Finals – Biggest All-Ford Event of the Year!
The world’s largest all-Ford drag race is going to be even bigger and better this year! The 17th Annual Nitto Tire 
NMRA All-Ford World Finals taking place October 1-4 at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, KY, will be bursting at the seams as the nation’s best Ford-powered racers gather one final time in celebration of all things Ford. NMRA KY 2015
This year’s final event of the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals will rip the roof off the grandstands in Bowling Green with not only championships being settled, but special events which will provide an exclamation point to a great season. For the first time ever, the NMRA will be hosting an after hours Grudge Night on Saturday, where racers can settle their score on the track with only a win light indicating the victor.

NMCA Race Wrap for 10th Annual Nitto Tire NMCA/NMRA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL
Santa Ana, CA – For the tenth year in a row, the NMCA Flowmaster Drag Racing series pulled into Route 66 Raceway 
in Joliet, Illinois, for the Nitto Tire Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing. The exciting event joins the NMCA and its sister series, the NMRA, for a weekend of hard-launching, high-horsepower action, and this year’s event attracted more than 600 cars of various elapsed-time levels in twenty-three categories.
NMCA and NMRA drivers focused on qualifying and racing in their respective categories until the final day of competition, when NMCA event winners and NMRA event winners squared off against each other to claim the Super Bowl championship. Each member of the winning team received a Nitto Tire Diamond Tree ring that features diamonds, rubies, and emeralds in the shape of a drag-racing Christmas tree, along with some money to fill their pockets. For the eighth time, the NMRA took the win over the NMCA, which has earned two wins in Super Bowl history.

NMRA Race Wrap for 10th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL
Santa Ana, CA – It was a wild conclusion to the 10th Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal 
Drag Racing. Over 600 race cars converged on Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL on Thursday to begin four days of euphoric competition between the two sanctioning bodies. Each series competes separately with three rounds of qualifying and elimination runs. Once the NMRA Keystone Automotive and NMCA Flowmaster event champions are declared through 23 categories, including both HP Tuners True Street and Gear Vendors True Street, the competition officials then pair up the winners with a corresponding category from the other series.
The Super Bowl Shootout isn’t an easy or equal crossover and this year we ended up with twelve pairings. The tiebreaker was the final match with the Strange Engineering Coyote Stock lining up with Chevrolet Performance Stock; the winner of that final pair would be rewarded with two points in the Shootout to eliminate any tie. Breaking right to the good stuff-NMRA won again and it came down to the final pair for the third year in a row! Drew Lyons commanded his Coyote Stock car to the finish line with a 10.45 at 127 mph to turn on the win-light against his competitor, Glenn Pushis. It was dramatic and Lyons was the hero of the day after Team NMRA battled back and forth before going behind by one point heading into the finals. It was practically a scripted finale between both teams with NMRA walking away with the Nitto Tire Diamond Tree ring for the eighth time in the past ten years.

This is the only event where NMRA racers compete directly with NMCA racers for bragging rights and the Nitto Tire Diamond Tree Super Bowl rings. Race Wrap for the 12th Annual McLeod Racing NMRA Ford SUPER Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park June 11-14, 2015
Santa Ana, CA – NMRA racers and officials danced between rain cells but the last one hit us to end three days of the 12th Annual McLeod Racing NMRA Ford SUPER Nationals. Half of the NMRA championship categories crowned a winner while the other half went down to the final round before the abrupt end to competition. The remaining classes, Flex-a-lite Open Comp, Detroit Locker Truck & Lightning, Exedy Racing Clutch Modular Muscle, Edelbrock Renegade, Strange Engineering Coyote Stock, and American Racing Headers Factory Stock will complete the final elimination rounds during qualifying at the Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Super Bowl of Street Legal Drag Racing at Route 66 Raceway this summer, July 30-August 2, 2015. The Bracket eliminations were completed but the Trick Flow Specialties King Ford Shootout was stopped short, which will be completed during the NMCA World Finals at Summit Motorsports Park, August 27-30, 2015.

Race Wrap for the 15th Annual SCT NMRA Ford Nationals presented by SVTperformance.com at Maryland International Raceway, May 1-3
Santa Ana, CA – The weekend started off with perhaps the best conditions the NMRA competitors have faced this 
year thanks to an overcast sky, temperatures in the high 50s, and an amazingly prepped track surface. Records fell, personal best times were accomplished, and it was a great way to kick off the 15th Annual SCT NMRA Ford Nationals, presented by SVTPerformance.com. The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals stop at Maryland International Raceway is unique, due to all of the special features that have been added into the weekend. There is the VMP Superchargers Terminator vs. GT500 Shootout, all of the other SVT activities like the UPR Products Car Show and HP Tuners True Street for those specialty cars, and of course, the JPC Racing Turbo Coyote Shootout. The sun popped out on Saturday and Sunday, bringing performances back to reality and getting the racers into race mode for eliminations.

Santa Ana, CA – The 7th Annual Borla Exhaust NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, presented by Miller Welders has 
concluded and it was definitely an extraordinary weekend of records, wall-to-wall action, and fun. As the engines cool off and the racers hit the road, we are left with a clear image of the fast, the good, and what’s in store for the next six months of drag racing. Atlanta Dragway was the second stop on the NMRA Keystone Drag Racing tour and one we won’t soon forget.
In VP Racing Fuels Street Outlaw we saw a slugfest between the turbo and supercharged camp, just as we did one month ago at the season opener. Phil Hines was consistently quicker, by just .01 seconds, than Dan Saitz of Hyperformance Motorsports through most rounds of competition as both dipped into the sixes. But it is all about the win light-the final round was a little anticlimactic as Hines was shutoff after the burnout due to fluids leaking under the vehicle. Saitz soloed for the victory, his first one in NMRA competition.
