MRA/NMCA West Coast Shootout in 2011. The JE Pistons NMRA/NMCA West Coast Shootout, presented by Lucas Oil, will take place at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA, the weekend of July 8-10, 2011.
This special event combines the NMCA Flowmaster series and the NMRA Keystone Automotive series for a special Southern California event that will give west coast drag racers and performance enthusiasts a taste of why the NMCA and NMRA are the #1 muscle car motorsports shows in the U.S.
This event will showcase some of the best heads-up and wheels up muscle car drag racing on the planet as street car racers put their combinations on kill to win the biggest west coast event of the year.
ATI Signs as NMCA Class sponsor of 275 Drag Radial

Santa Ana, CA – The NMCA is pleased to announce ATI Performance Products, one of the leading manufacturers of racing automative transmissions, torque converters, and balancers, as the sponsor for NMCA’s new 275 Drag Radial 
class in 2011. 275 Drag Radial developed from NMCA’s popular Street Radial class that showcased incredible ETs and MPHs on traditional DOT tires.
With the cars going faster and faster, and the increased popularity of 275 drag racing around the country, the NMCA is moving with the market by rewriting its Street Radial rules into the new ATI 275 Drag Radial class.

for. Developed from the excitement of the LSX Shootout, the all-new LSX Challenge Series will run at four select events in 2011:
Bradenton Motorsports Park – Mar 18-20
Atlanta, Dragway – Apr 14-17
Beech Bend Raceway – Sep 9-11
Indianapolis Raceway Park – Oct 6-9
The GM Performance Parts LSX Challenge Series takes place as a part of the NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals (Except at Holley the LS Fest, which will have all sorts of additional LS performance activities), which means you will see the best in LS performance as well as all-domestic heads-up muscle car drag racing.
