Chris Demke and Maddern Racing Are Top Gun Bound

Fallon, NV – Mid way through the 2011 drag racing season, Chris Demke and the Top Alcohol Dragster Team of 
Maddern are making their way 63 miles east of Reno to compete at Top Gun Raceway. This event marks the teams seventh appearance this year.
The Peen Rite / Clean Boost Performance Oil Team goes into this race as the Division 7 points leader as well as the Division 7 Jegs Allstars points leader and holding strong in 3rd place within the National Points Chase.
“We’ve done pretty well so far this year” notes Demke, “we have a good, consistent race car and we are very hungry to improve our position within the National Championship Points Series.
Maddern Racing Earns ‘The Wally’ In Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA – The Peen Rite / Clean Boost Performance Oil Maddern Racing Top Alcohol Dragster Team with Chris Demke at the wheel, out lasted the competition for the win this past weekend at the third of six Lucas Oil Pacific Division 7 event in Bakersfield, California.
The Peen Rite Team secured their position to compete later this year at the prestigious 2011 Jegs All Stars Race at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet this coming July.
“This weekend was really big for us” noted Demke, “first, it was the week of Jerry Maddern’s birthday. He really wanted to run a 5.20 something which we missed by only 4 thousandths of a second. However, he’s pretty happy with the Wally and that we ran our quickest ET ever at Bakersfield by more than a tenth of a second.

Famosa, CA – The Southern California based Top Alcohol Dragster Team of Maddern Racing with Chris Demke as the 
pilot, are ready for racing action this weekend at the third of six Pacific Division 7 Lucas Oil Racing Series Event in Famosa, California.
This event is the sixth race for the Peen Rite / Clean Boost Performance Oil Partnered team this year. They currently sit fourth within the National Points Championship chase.
“We had a very tough weekend during our last race at the Vegas Nationals” noted Demke, “our team, along with several others, experienced a manufacturer’s heaven with the amount of carnage we experienced that kept us from making it to the Semi Finals.
Maddern Racing Looking For Back To Back Finals in Vegas

Las Vegas, NV – Chris Demke, pilot of the Jerry Maddern powered Top Alcohol Dragster are ready for competition 
once again just north of the Nevada Desert hot spot known as Sin City.
This event marks the second of two back to back events for the Peen Rite / Clean Boost Performance Oil Team. Their final round appearance last weekend gave them additional data for this weekends 12th Annual SummitRacing.com NHRA Full Throttle Nationals.
“The numbers last weekend in qualifying didn’t show it, but we struggled in qualifying” noted Demke, “we ran a 5.41, 5.40 and a 5.42, but we were off a tenth in our tune up from previous Las Vegas numbers that we have logged.

Las Vegas, NV – As the Pacific Division 7 Lucas Oil Racing Series Events is entering into their second race of the 2011 
Racing Season, this is the fourth event of the year for Chris Demke and the Maddern Racing Top Alcohol Dragster.
With a National Event Win already in hand, the Peen Rite/Clean Boost Team knows the season has only just begun. This season will prove to be their most aggressive racing season to date in hopes of winning the National Championship.
“When we arrived home from Gainesville with a Wally” noted Demke, “we couldn’t wait to see our friends and family. We all gathered at a local restaurant, the Steel Pit, for a big celebration when the ESPN TV coverage came on. It was a really special event for us to share with everyone.

Gainesville, FL – With weather conditions as good as 1200 feet below sea level in the morning hours at Florida’s 
premier racing facility, Gainesville Raceway, the timing couldn’t have been better for teams in attendance.
The Peen Rite / Clean Boost Top Alcohol Dragster of Chris Demke and Jerry Maddern was in fact one of the benefactors of those conditions.
With an oversized DMPE MKII injector hat mounted on the dragster for first round of qualifying, Demke led his team to a 5.255 elaspse time that held up through three sessions into first round of eliminations.
“The Gorilla Injector hat received a lot of attention” lamented Demke, “unfortunately, for the second and third qualifier, the dragster pulled the front end and I had to abort both runs.
Chris Demke and Maddern Racing Contesting Gatornationals In Honor Of Walt Rhoades

Gainesville, FL – It was a last minute decision for Maddern Racing to travel over 3000 miles to contest this weekend’s 
42nd annual running of the Tire Kingdom’s NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway in Florida. It was a unanimous decision.
This race marks a very special place in history for crew member, Adam Rhoades, where his father won his 1st National Event back in 1971 driving the Freight Train entry in Top Gas Eliminator.
“We have never ran the Gatornationals” said Demke, “when Adam mentioned to us how cool it would be to go in honor of his dad, we all agreed that it should and would be done.
“We have a good, consistent car and a brand new partnership with Hoosier Tires, so we are hoping to celebrate a win in honor of Walt’s accomplishments from 40 years ago.”
Hoosier Tires Partners with Maddern Racing

Sun Valley, CA – Chris Demke and Maddern Racing have reached an agreement and are joining forces with Hoosier Tires during the 2011 Racing Season. Hoosier’s are the racing tire “Designed for Champions.” 
“We are very excited about this new opportunity” notes Demke, “we’ve been running Hoosier Tires for many seasons, and for them to choose us to partner with is quite an honor, to say the least.
“We really like that fact that these tires are manufactured in the United States. Their compound, along with our engine combination, continues to help us run consistently every time we are at the track.
Chris Demke’s Consistency in Pomona Earns Semi Final Finish

Pomona, CA – Pulling into the races with the #2 on your race car gives a whole new meaning to any race team. As 
friendly as all the racers are with each other in the pits, when it’s race day, they all want to be the team that puts the higher ranked team on the trailer.
There is no question that Maddern Racing, with pilot Chris Demke, have proven themselves to be a power house each and every time they compete. The Clean Boost Performance Oil / Peen Rite Dragster ran within .04 hundredths of a second all weekend with mid to high 5.20 passes that secured them into the #2 qualifying position for race day and took them into the Semi Final round of competition.
“In the semi final match, the car launched hard” noted Demke, “it lifted the front wheels up and started heading for the wall so I had to pedal the throttle to settle it down. The car did settle down, but the elapse time suffered and we ended up running an uncharacteristic pass of 6.322 at 156.23.
Chris Demke Looking to Defend 2010 Winternationals Championship

Pomona, CA – The Top Alcohol Dragster Team of Maddern Racing with Chris Demke behind the wheel is ready for 
their first ever National Event Repeat Victory. The 2010 Winternationals Top Alcohol Dragster Champion team is based in Sun Valley, California and is looking forward to competing at their home track where family and friends can attend.
The 2011 Season started out on a high note for Demke’s Team. They powered their way to yet another #1 qualifying position leading into last weeks Division 7 2011 kick off race in Phoenix, Arizona. The team ran a very respectable 5.286 at 271.95 miles per hour.
