Gatornationals Tough Start For eCarMover Pro Stock Team

GAINESVILLE, FL – The two car eCarMover Pro Stock team of Alan Prusiensky and Mike Callahan came to the 52nd annual NHRA Gatornationals focused on building momentum for the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season. After two day of qualifying, a number of hurdles kept Prusiensky and his team busy but did not deter the team from taking advantage of their track time. eCarMover is using the two car Pro Stock team to introduce their logistics and North America car hauling business to both the fans and NHRA business partners. Over two days the eCarMover Dodge Darts driven by veteran Prusiensky and rookie Callahan made multiple passes on a sometimes tricky track.

“We came to the Gatornationals after a longer than usual off-season,” said Prusiensky. “We are running two Dodge Darts and every run we learn something new. Mike is a rookie driver so this was his first NHRA national event and that was a huge deal for him. I know he will keep improving. Like every driver he just needs seat time. My last run in qualifying was a big improvement and I am taking that positive with me to the next race.”

Racing in his first NHRA national event was a dream realized for Callahan, a Texas businessman and car enthusiast. Two weeks ago he earned his Pro Stock license at the World Doorslammer Challenge in Orlando, Florida. The first year pro is learning on the fly in the toughest class on the national tour. Over twenty race cars entered the Gatornationals from across the country and Callahan gave his best effort.

eCarMover Pro Stock Team Ready to Attack Gatornationals

TAMPA, FL – Last weekend the two car eCarMover Pro Stock team of veteran Alan Prusiensky and rookie Mike Callahan opened their 2021 racing season competing at the 2nd annual World Doorslammer Nationals in Orlando. For Prusiensky it was the chance to shake off the off-season rust and for Callahan it was his first opportunity to feel the power of his eCarMover and Artisan Coffee Dodge Dart for the first time. This weekend at the 52nd annual NHRA Gatornationals both drivers will be looking to start the NHRA season on the right foot and represent their Florida-based sponsor eCarMover on the national FOX broadcast.

“I am excited to see what Alan and Mike can do at the NHRA Gatornationals,” said eCarMover Co-Founder John Mingolelli. “Alan is building a great program and we are excited to have Mike in the second Dodge Dart. This sport is about chasing your dream so to see him out here competing against the best of the best just makes me very proud. eCarMover is excited to be a part of the NHRA and Camping World Drag Racing Series. We have some major marketing goals and are looking forward to leveraging our national and international relationships with other NHRA sponsors.”

Last season Alan Prusiensky worked diligently to compete every weekend in one of the toughest classes on the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series. His Dodge Dart showed flashes of consistency and power but the chaotic nature of the season would not allow him to develop consistency. After an off-season spent in the shop he is ready to continue to represent Dodge and eCarMover alongside rookie Mike Callahan.

Mike Callahan To Make Pro Stock Debut in Florida

FRISCO, TX – Mike Callahan will see a dream come to fruition when he begins his quest to earn his Pro Stock license during the CTECH World Doorslammer Nationals presented by JEGS, March 5-7 at Orlando Speed World Dragway. The Frisco, Texas, business owner will compete in the event and then make his NHRA debut at the 52nd annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals the next weekend in Gainesville, Florida, racing as part of a two car team with Pro Stock veteran Alan Prusiensky. The pair will be racing eCarMover Dodge Darts with Callahan also receiving support from Artisan Coffee. For Callahan this is a dream come true that began through a mutual business relationship with Ron Capasello, the founder of Artisan Coffee, and some hands on experience from Pro Stock driver Kenny Delco.

“I am excited to get to Orlando and take my shot at getting my Pro Stock license,” said Callahan, who owns a number of businesses in North Texas. “I have to thank Ron Capasello and Artisan Coffee for this chance as well as Alan Prusiensky and Prusiensky Racing. Alan and Kenny Delco have shown me the ropes for the past couple of years and now I am going to take this great opportunity. We will see what happens in Orlando but I couldn’t be more excited.”

Callahan has loved classic cars and street rods for years, so much so that he would occasionally attend car shows and test and tune events racing for fun. His passion and interest in racing grew when a business acquaintance introduced him to Capasello, the founder of Artisan Coffee and sponsor of Kenny Delco’s Pro Stock entry three years ago. Because of their shared interest in race cars, Capasello invited Callahan to spend some time working with Delco’s Pro Stock team.

Alan Prusiensky and TopCoat Make Strides at FallNationals

DALLAS – Alan Prusiensky and the TopCoat™ Dodge Dart Pro Stock team took both days in Dallas to continue to make improvements. After the NHRA Midwest Nationals in St. Louis the team stayed an extra day and tested finding a few issues to correct before they headed to the Lone Star State. During yesterday’s two qualifying sessions for the 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals Prusiensky made consistent runs but the performance was not what the driver was looking for.

“I know we can get more out of this TopCoat™ Dodge Dart,” said Prusiensky. “We made some progress in St. Louis testing and I was really expecting more performance. We are going to keep working.”

In the first round against the No. 2 qualifier Alex Laughlin Prusiensky knew he would have his hands full. Laughlin took a small starting line advantage and never trailed in the race. The TopCoat™ Dodge Dart Pro Stock car crossed the finish line in 6.652 seconds at 205.85 mph. The performance dropped off slightly from his qualifying effort because of changes in the weather conditions.

Alan Prusiensky and TopCoat Dodge Back in Action in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series returned to the track this weekend beginning back-to-back races at Lucas Oil Raceway. Today during the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Nationals the TopCoat™ Dodge driven by Alan Prusiensky, the No. 16 qualifier, made a strong showing against eventual race winner Jason Line. With just one day of qualifying Prusiensky and the blue and black Dodge Dart branded with the TopCoat™ and F11 logos survived a field of over twenty Pro Stock cars to earn the right to race today.

“We really had to pull together on Saturday,” said Prusiensky. “When you only get two runs to try and qualify that puts a lot of pressure on the team. Luckily, this Top Coat Dodge Pro Stock group came through and we got to race.”

On Saturday there were two qualifying sessions on a hot track after an over four month lay-off. It was a tough task for all the teams and Prusiensky made the most of his first run a solid 6.700 second pass which at the time was quick enough to slot him No. 13. In the second session a number of drivers improved but the New Jersey based driver was able to hold them off and run for the Wally on Sunday.

TopCoat Dodge and Alan Prusiensky Get 60th Winternationals Started in Pomona

POMONA, CA – The 60th annual Winternationals kicked off the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series and the TopCoat™ Dodge driven by Alan Prusiensky made a strong debut to get the 50th anniversary of the Pro Stock category started. Over two days of qualifying Prusiensky and the blue and black Dodge Dart branded with the TopCoat™ and F11 logos battled a tough field to make the top sixteen. Heading into the final qualifying session on Saturday Prusiensky was racing to bust into qualified field but the New Jersy based driver narrowly missed the field.

“We always expect to qualify,” said Prusiensky. “I had a tough two days driving and we had some mechanical issues fighting us. You know a little bit of the new car blues. The rev-limiter wasn’t turned on in Q1 because we didn’t know it was there since this is a new car for us this weekend. Those types of things put your back against the wall a little and we had to swing for the fences in Q4. I really felt like we could get in and I got too aggressive on the other side and blew the tires off.”

Last year Prusiensky survived a harrowing incident at the Charlotte national event during the NHRA Countdown playoff race. He was able to finish the season with sponsorship support from TopCoat™ that extended into the 2020 season.
