Gainesville, FL – It’s been a few weeks since V Gaines and his Kendall Motor Oil Dodge raced to a runner up finish in the Valley of the Sun at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park. During this time the guys have been working on the Kendall car non-stop. “It’s a really long season even though we’re off to a pretty good start, there is a lot of things we need to tighten up” V Gaines tells us. “Don’t get me wrong the guys have this Kendall Motor Oil Dodge running hard but we know the other teams are working hard as well”

With two runner up finishes to start his 2014 Mean Teeth Tour V is leading the NHRA Mello Yello Series in Pro Stock points. ” Well that’s fun to say or read but the truth is; in this class there is no room for mistakes and we are just going to focus on one run at a time” he goes on to say.

The team made a stop in Bradenton Florida for testing Monday and Tuesday before heading to Gainesville. Monday was a long day and the car performed well. Tuesday the day was cut short for the team but the entire group is excited for the Gators.

V and the Kendall Motor Oil guys have also been working hard with Roger and his team over at Lazarus Race Cars and soon they will be testing the next generation of Dodge race cars in his new Pro Stock Dodge Dart. As a team we are Thankful to Dodge and Mopar for supporting the NHRA and the Pro Stock category.

We are also pleased to say Ms. Forbyn and her 4th grade class in Salt Lake City are still doing an amazing job. We get weekly updates and pictures from the group. Ms. Forbyn and her class have allowed us to play a very small role in their learning lessons. This is a group of hard working kids to say the least and we are proud of them. We are talking with a few other schools and teachers and if it’s meant to be this program just might catch on!
